Whats the small hole on the cap is there a reset button in there or is it a threaded hole to attach there own brand lanyard possibly.looks a good pointer with some nice features...thx for the video
@@mrix Yeah I totally agree so what do you run yours on I’m just looking for the best setting and kind of leave it alone. I want it to have depth but not too much to where I still need to dig a 5 inch hole more
What sensitivity settings do you find the best I know 10 is the most but your pinpointing you don’t want it to be too far and then I’ve also heard that 10 sometimes makes it fault so what do you usually run it on sensitivity wise?
Its a little silly adding so many settings regarding sensitivity, when looking for small fragments of metal it stands to reason the lower settings are far beneficial especially when metal detecting, also as you say like any metal detector the higher settings will start to make the pointer become unstable at times as its far more likely to pick up EMI and generally other forms of interference. The pinpointer is for ease of use when trying to find those small coins and fragments saving you a lot of time to move on and find the better targets, in these circumstances the lower settings are ideal, however I suppose there can be occasions when the higher settings could be useful. All the best mrix

Hello Chris, the Nokta pointer is a really good piece of kit, it almost identical to the Makro Pointer accept one is orange and the other black, the Nokta Pointer however has more sensitivity settings which some prefer and others do not, personally for me I prefer the makro pointer has it has less sensitivity settings making it a little more similar to use, both pretty much the same really, best of luck in whatever you decide, mrix
Hello, there is a security ring and lanyard you can purchase for that purpose, the official version is quite expensive but if you look on somewhere like Ebay they can be purchased for a few pounds etc.

What sensitivity setting do you find is the best and you use the most?
Hi James, having a high sensitivity makes pinpointing the find more difficult, the lower settings are always better, mrix
