so cats can’t usually climb down from trees because of the way their claws are shaped. They’re curved for climbing up things but not down so that’s why they tend to get stuck in trees (then they get scared and just climb higher)
@morilieev My cat once jumped out of my arms onto a tree trunk when we were walking home. He started meowing in fear after previously having been playful and purring in my arms, not understanding that from the height he was at, he could just jump to the ground and be safe. He climbed further, beginning to panic, looking around for something to jump onto or something stable to stand on before my friend was able to reach up and grab him by the scruff. I think they get scared of the height or lack of grip if they arent standing on something and are just hanging there, so they climb higher, expecting to find somewhere to jump to, or climb down from, not understanding that the tree is free standing and isn't connected to anything at the top, and that they wont be able to just climb down something that's leaning on it or jump to something else. I've seen outside cats that are a bit more knowledgeable climb trees only if they have branches they can jump to all the way down, but I'm sure if they're scared up a tree by a wild animal or dog, they'll wind up in a very similar predicament. It sounds strange, but I think that's the thought process for them, just fear motivation or curiosity turned to fear and panic.

When I was younger, I was doing homework and my cat suddenly jumped onto the table, knocked over my glass of water and it soaked my homework. My mom thought it would be a good idea to Microwave my Homework to dry it. Within a few seconds the Graphite from the pencil I was using had combusted in the microwave burning large holes into the paper. You hear the classic excuse of "my dog ate my homework" but the next day I had to explain how my mom burnt my homework...

Talking about animals not being able to go down things, I believe my mom said that one time in high school, someone had brought a cow upstairs. Now a thing about cows is that their knees bend in such a way that they literally cannot walk down stairs. So her high school now had a cow upstairs and the teachers had to figure out how to get it down. They got it down and it was fine, but like it’s still pretty funny.
On the bowling subject, I have an embarrassing story... the last time I went bowling, I can only do two, maybe three games because I broke my right arm a few years ago and that's my dominant hand and it gets tired. It's nothing as extreme as some of the people you see throw it into the monitors or the wall, but it was still embarrassing. It was nearing the end of our second game and my arm was starting to hurt and get tired. It was my turn so I grabbed my ball and got ready. Well had it up in front of me, then when I let my arm down to get ready to swing to back... it decided it couldn't hold onto the ball anymore and I barely missed my toes lol. It was pretty embarrassing, but things happen.
Fun fact, catfish can survive in low oxygen conditions, and flood water happens to be low in oxygen concentration so technically yes, you could take your pet catfish for a walk when it floods, though dirty water and strong currents may be a whole different story
Strong currents would probably be a problem but they live in murky water so unless there are dangerous chemicals in the water any stagnant pool should be okay (in fact the water they live in is low in oxygen because it's stagnant, fast moving water tends to contain more oxygen). They literally naturally live in floodplains and swamps.
i didnt expect that legend of zelda clip, but as a breath of the wild player, god was that accurate. i swear, some of the enemies in that game have super vision or something.

Actually it is the temperature of which books burn. ray bradbury asked a few firemen to burn a few and test, and like mad lads they did. the temperature that is required for modern oxide-coated cathodes is around 800-1,000 °C (1,470-1,830 °F).
You'd be surprised to know that bowling balls are heavy and when you swing your arm to roll the ball, sometimes you let go too late and your arm acts like a pendulum and throws it upwards, it's a lot easier than you realize. Pointing this out for people who don't really bowl.
