58:16 not so fun fact. that “snoring” is horrific when you know what it’s called and what it means. It’s Agonal breathing. They sound almost like snoring, snorting or gasping, it could also sound like the person is moaning. it’s not actually true breathing. It's a natural reflex that happens when your brain is not getting the oxygen it needs to survive. It adds to the state Susan must be in. It shook me to my core. It’s such an “iykyk” moment and I love it. It’s usually a sign that the heart is no longer circulating oxygenated blood OR there’s an interruption of lung activity that’s reducing oxygen intake. It can last for a very short time, or it can last for HOURS. It means that CatNap/Theodore was genuinely the closest to death that a person could ever be which tells you just how severe the injury was and why CatNap views The Prototype as his god.

I love how they cover Dogday's legs in the cartoon. The only one out of the group to have this particular choice made for him, with Catnap sitting at his feet on the couch. Quite the subtle nod to later when there was only the two of them left.

Not only that, for Ollie potentially being the prototype would make sense. Since, after the death of CatNap, and when the prototype dragged him back up. Ollie doesn’t even call you or anything at all afterwards. Like, a setup of some kind.
They celebrated him bcs they thought he was getting adopted, elliot was dead when the duffle body bag was found ,also besides the cutouts of bobby bearhug , catnap and picky piggy all the other smiling critters have use metaphors related to escaping

i agree with the " ollie is the prototype " theory not just because of the things jack pointed out but also ollie in the intro to the orphanage says " this is were THE kids lived " not " this is were WE lived " had ollie been an actual kid who lived in play time he would said "we", no instead he said "the" hes talking as if hes not part of the children that lived in playcare. Minor detail but i think it says alot about who ollie is or how his character is.

I believe it was mentioned that all the Smiling Critters were kids in the one tape about CatNap. The voice being deep is likely due to a damaged voicebox, as someone in the chat mentioned. Or, just think of CatNap's voice, a deep voice with the toys doesn't always mean it's an adult.

I've seen people theorize that you play as ludwig but i think you play as just a normal employee that just so happened didnt go to work the day everyone eas killed like the whole "your coworkers" instead of "your employees" and "guilt haunts you" is probably surviors guilt like feeling guilty you survived instead of everyone else personally i think Ludwig is either dead or in jail but that's just me
I think so too, it makes me feel sadder watching the final tape of all the workers being slaughtered. And the camera turns away, it's like your character didn't want to see the truth of what actually happened to them. Because you come back to the factory after getting a letter from one of the workers, maybe your character is subconsciously hoping their friends are still alive. Which is why I think they turned away watching the tape, maybe out of guilt or denial. 🤔

While the games don't have an age restriction, the creators recommend players be at least 8+. Truthfully, I never saw it as a kids game or a game designed for kids. It felt much more like an accidental attraction that grabbed the largely kid audience, not an intended result. This latest chapter further proves my theory the creators always wanted this game to be considered truly scary and serious in nature and tone.

At 4:16:56 when the prototype starts talking u can like hear mommys voice at the end of that sentence. It kinda interesting given that at the end of poppy playtime chapter 2 when mommy dies she says how she doesn't want to become him (the prototype) which somehow gives so much more detail to just a small word. We can also see the prototype grabbing mommy at the end of chapter 2
