Oh I love these videos. Casual small talk while watching one apply makeup. Most makeup asmr is roleplay, but there's something relaxing about watching someone applying makeup on themselves.

I really enjoy "get ready with me" videos like this, idk it just gives me the right vibe to get ready myself, do I have something to get ready for? No but seeing someone else do it makes me feel just the right mix of comfortable and excited enough to wanna do it along with them

You are absolutely gorgeous with an without makeup Jen but I cannot get over how much your makeup skills are improving! I swear I comment this on every makeup video but it truly is crazy seeing it improve in each video! Your hair also looks stunning!

Also, I too feel like I look a lot younger without foundation on so I've found that using a tinted moisturizer and dewy setting spray works better for not settling into my lines... and then I just use a full coverage concealer on the blemishes to still get the nice skin look.
I think you look lovely regardless but maybe it's something you'd like to try because I've felt it's helped me a ton 😊

i very rarely use setting sprays (mostly because i rarely do full faces of makeup), but i definitely think they work! i use a matte spray from nyx (not sure if it’s in the UK but it’s a drugstore brand, so it’s cheap) and it really keeps everything in place for hours, even if i’m going to a concert and moving around a bunch, i find my eyeshadow/liner looks much better at the end of the night with it

You’ve been one of favs for the longest! As someone with naturally dark hair, I’ve found that getting extensions and doing ombré with that is kinder/more sustainable. Whatever you do, you look gorgeous to me! But lol about the foundation…hitting 30 and I’m horrified to realize my skin has changed…most days I don’t even feel like I’m a proper adult!🙃😂😬

(little tip: if you get mascara on your eyelid, leave it to dry and then take a cue tip with makeup remover and it will come off easier than trying to remove it wet!)
I also use setting spray if I’m going full face of make up but since my skin type has changed and I don’t want to keep spending money I don’t really see the biggest difference. I used to use NYX matte spray but it makes my face look crunchy because I have dry skin but I don’t want to look super shiny. 🫠 I really like using it to wet my brushes to bring out the shine more in highlighters or glittery eyeshadows.
Lovely makeup look however if you want an easier method for applying winged liner, start from your wing point and go inward instead of out from your eye. Makes a WORLD of difference and they are less likely to look uneven ❤
