This video just made me wonder why the hell aren't there natural disasters in other games? many games mimic life but this aspect of it is never included.

Shame it doesn't destroy buildings. If the map's big enough they should have created a full small, gameplay-irrelevant towns solely for the purpose of being in Tornado paths, so they get destroyed. The path could vary so it only destroys a street at a time, in case you miss it happening once or twice.
I have to admit Just Cause 2 and 3 were two of the funnest games I've ever played. The series has its fair share of glitches and weirdness, but it's so damned fun.
There is Storm Quest in the works. As for how it is going and when or if it will be finished, who knows? They have a channel here on YT, but they haven't uploaded anything for a year or so. Might be more 'alive' on their Discord, like so many others these days.

I wish the tornados would leave a trail of destruction behind them.. and then if you would go back to the same place after some time, you would see buildings in the stage of repair and rebuild.. and destruction should not be only on buildings but also on roads and fields.. it should pull off ground and plants and road guardrails etc.. and throw around some debris, which would be dangerous on its own. That would be seriously future game. I would buy it if that game would even just be about tornado chasing :D And they really should have worked a little on AI and made cars at least stop if in vicinity of the tornado.. even best would be if they would try to turn around and escape.. wouldn't be too hard i imagine.. just set it kind of as a pseudo road block. Right now the way how they just drive int it feels so stupid

chased a lot of storms as a backyard chaser in Missouri, only one meso ALMOST produced. Nope never got a tornado. structure on it was incredible though.
i hope they develop it more, variable F factors on the fly, twisting eerily across the skyscape, hailstorms, lightning, and more blowy trees and believeable wind outside of the suck zone

probably isnt going to see this, but if you get the prospero skycrane and a wind cannon, use the prospero skycrane and connect the magnet to the top of the wind cannon, and if u do it just right, then you can move the tornado

Wow Jeff. I bought this game last week and after playing for about 30 mins got bored and haven't played since. I didn't realize it had stuff like this in it. As far as the problems you were having. I'm playing on PS4 and haven't noticed so maybe it's just the CPU version of the game.
I like how Rico can walk up to the tornado and stand 3 feet away from it, and is just totally okay with it. Like trees and cars are getting picked up, planes and helis are stroking out, but Rico, not even the strongest of natural disasters can pull that man off of the ground.

And as this game takes place in a fictional Latin American country, then i imagine it should be called camión.. but it would be kind of funny to hear him say it in Spanish just because it. Aaand by the way, i think in at least few European countries hearing someone say lorry about truck, seems kind of normal.. due to how many of us watched Top Gear.. the British original of course.. and jus because Britain is like closer, so we learn British English not US English in school
