What I think happened with the Jester is that the crappy design was close to the final design but after the outcry the players gave, Rockstar redesigned the Jester and fixed the issues that people pointed out. Leading to the much better and finished version we can get now.
i think they intended to release it like this but they made a mistake, the fact that everyone complained made them realize the car is terrible so they just skipped releasing it and then they decided to release it with the next update, the car file itself is under patchday19 as in the car has been updated with the new patch, they likely made a mistake leaving it in like this, and if it wasn't for people complaining it likely would have released that way and then people would complain.
the Vmax livery is based on smokey nagatas Top Secret supra from the late 90's before he went with that weird twin turbo v12 one, in game it's even called the "Smokey Special". really cool nod to a living legend.
It’s a dinka jester because in GTA SA the Jester looks kinda like this, not really the shape of the car but the head and tail lights look the same. So they just made it the classic since theres already a new edge jester in the game
I honestly think that R* were going to release it in the previous update because more that 1 other vehicle had the same missing headlight glass cover (e.g. the Flash) and the stock exhaust was even changed along with the rear bumper. As for it still being Dinka (or Honda) you're right. R* created it, they can decide what company makes it like the Tampa is made by the equivalent of Pontiac but the Drift Tampa is meant to be a Ford Mustang Hoonicorn. Great vid btw.
It’s good to see that Rockstar Games actually listened to us and fixed the Jester Classic. :) Well now that the Jester Classic is fixed, the next car I’d like to see them bring back to GTA 5 Online from GTA San Andreas is the ZR-350, the ZR-350 is based off the Mazda RX-7 FD! I’ve been fan requesting Rockstar to make a car based off the Mazda RX-7 FD for GTA 5 Online ever since day one of GTA 5 Online, I’ve also been requesting a car based off the Toyota Supra MK4 for the longest as well, but now we got that. I’m just going to wait patiently for Rockstar to bring back the ZR-350 to GTA 5 Online from now on.

The mirrored Fukaru livery is actually a style some Japanese racing cars have. I can't name any famous ones but I remember some cars in Gran Turismo having it.
The lore of the name of the car isn't that big of a deal. The Bobcat Xl is a Vapid when it should be a Declasse because it is a Chevy, not a Ford. Another one is the Kuruma being a Karin (Toyota) instead of a Maiabatsu (Mishubushi)
Mazder_ the real lights and bumber make it kind of a Subaru but the rest of the car points toward being a Evo 10. The spoilers and overall sound seem to be a Evo. In my opinion the Sultan is a Wrx when it is the RS version. The normall one is more of a Toyota Camry and a Lexus sedan.

I think Rockstar was planning to released the Dinka Jester Classic for the last DLC they heard all the complain of the Jester Classic but, they save it for the After Hour DLC.

I don’t think R* would have released the ‘older’ model as it looks so unfinished. Yet they may have been looking at in for money (with Shark Cards) because they know people would buy it, but i feel more people would buy the ‘new’ version because it is such a cleaner/better car so good move updating it by them.
I have no comment on what Rockstar was thinking/doing when they originally put the Jester in the game, but the remake certainly shows that they certainly do care enough to go back and fix their mistakes. (By the way, take a look at a car called The Stafford, it looks like the love child of 4 different rolls royce cars from the 50's and 60's.)
Since I've been banned from Social Club and GTA:O in general, I never knew what was released in GTA:O or not for over a year. I played on FiveM Project Homecoming which is a racing server, and it's had all the cars that were ever added to GTA:O released or not. Including the Jester Classic, the old one. Have had it for a long time. They added more mods to it, making it actually functional. They even added a Castrol inspired livery to it. It's all lore friendly in that server. Should check it out or something, unless you already have.

There is actually cars that have the turbo connected directly to the intercooler like that, there's a bloke on Instagram that has a turbo FR-S with that set-up on it.
So I learned that figureight has never seen a front mounted turbo that connects directly to the intercooler, even tho there are lots of people doing that, and he also does't know that even when the car is idling, the turbo spins, as the exhaust gases don't have anywhere else to go.
One thing people /need/ to stop saying when talking about this car is how it's different from its real-life inspiration This car isn't based on the Supra. They based it on the Jester from San Andreas. (Which yes is Supra based.) but everything it calls back to relates to the SA Jester and if you /need/ to educate yourself on what it looks like /do it/ because so many are complaining about the shapes and the twin exhaust when the Jester from San Andreas' signature was it's oversized lights and HUGE twin muffler exhaust. I've just built mine with a cobalt blue paint job and that Fukaru livery and it looks sexy as hell ! It drives nice too ,holds the road really well 👌😙
