    I am living In India and I want to get into IMO, here the first stage for selection is IOQM (Indian Olympiad qualifiers in mathematics) I am in class 9 I have more than basic preparation how do I do that ?

      Well, I believe that the best practice is to solve previous years' problems, determine your weaknesses, and strengthen them.

      A former IMO medalist here, little fermat gave you good advice. Though let me expand:
      -> Solve problems from the competition you're prepping for.
      ----> If stuck try:
      ---------> Solving problems from lower grades in the same competition
      ---------> Looking for other competitions of similar level and solving those problems
      ---------> Read the solution and if you don't understand the concepts learn the theory
      ------------------> If you understand the concepts, reason why the proof "makes sense" and motivate the proof.
      And finally, self-promotion: Look at my videos to learn some techniques and intuitions behind problem solutions.
