A friend and myself went on holiday to Italy in 2018 and we were impressed with the desserts that McD's in Rome had because they were so much better than the UK ones and we've both got a really sweet tooth. I mean, they had a full *display counter* of different desserts. It was *ACE*! We were also spoilt for choice. Usually, with UK McDonalds I stick with their apple pies, even though they're not really pies, but IIRC, they weren't on the menu in Rome. Also, the Nutella croissants do seem to be A Thing, not just of McDonalds, but of other cafes and places to eat. We spent a couple of nights in Naples and the place we stayed at had an agreement with a local cafe for breakfast vouchers for people staying with them. We both had a Nutella croissant and, no word of a lie, if you thought your McD's croissant had a lot of Nutella in, you need to go to Naples. They honest to goodness must have put about half a big jar in each croissant and it was oozing everywhere - they weren't tight with it at all!

I had a lamb burger with feta cheese at a McDonalds in Rome a few years ago. It was spectacularly good!
4:55 lol there's a bit to explain to these items but that is not mozzarella, it's montasio, it's a different cheese from the north of Italy.
Guys you HAVE to try a Polish McDonalds but only winter specials that they release around December - there is this sandwich called Drwal that comes out annually and it’s bomb. It’s like a tradition, the winter season officially starts the moment McDonald’s releases Drwal, it’s like a cultural tradition at this point, you go and have Drwal once a year 👌
What's in it other than bread? :)
I second this. Polish McDonald's is fabulous
@@olivial4608 mmm I've lived in Poland for a long time, mc Donald's was nothing special. very basic burgers "maestro" line is nothing compared to "myselection"
Thanks guys, you always make my day better, seeing such great friends working together and truly loving each other is so special. Keep it up.
After living in Italy, I noticed McDonalds is similar to the United States as it’s very hit or miss. By far the best McDonalds that I ever encountered was in Venice on the Strada Nova right next to Lush. After going on several occasions, every time was way better than anything else in Italy.
As an italian i think our McDonald's is really high quality and really, really, good🤤i love italian mcdonald(not all) but the burgers quality is really good and fresh, also the meat is 100% italian(the chicken too) i 'd love to invite all the non-italians people who are reading this comment to try the italian McDonald's,have a good day😃
It's funny how Ollie refers to the word after the "Mc" as American when they're just common English words.
As an Italian Calzonettino will be the new name I'll use for Panzerotti from now on
Agreed! Italian McDonald is the best McDonald I ever ate in my entire life. Somehow it tasted like home cooked meal. Didn't taste like fast food.
I cannot believe that you came to my beautiful city of Ferrara and I didn't know about it! I hope you enjoyed your stay, and wish I would have met you guys ☺
Exactly i gasped when i saw McDonalds i recognised right away
I feel like the bread in Italy McDonald's tastes fresher than what we have in the States.
Josh’s face at 8:38. You guys just need to make a compilation of all the times Josh has pulled his ‘plot twist’ face. It would be a long video, but hey.
It's fun to se them so exited for those "panzerotti", when those can be basically found in the frozen food sector of every italian supermarket.
You should've gone to Bari for the true Panzerotto experience.
That croissant is GENEROUS! Also, it has Nutella? Instant Classic.
You can get a croissant with good melted chocolate or occasionally nutella also in a lot of cafes, and they're full of chocolate, tepid when freshly baked in the morning and crunchy with lots of layers
@@irenecarrillo6750 Yes, we have that here but I’ve never seen it as a part of McDonald’s.
@@PokhrajRoy. well, the mc version is gonna be worse
@@irenecarrillo6750 well that's a lie, they're pretty good compared to normal bars in italy, probably they get them sorted from a good source as many people who work early go in mc donalds as breakfast
Fun fact: Joe bastianic is actually a really famous chef, which was one of the judges in Italian MasterChef. Plus usually on tiramisu there's coffe powder, not chocolate powder.
P.s. "sfiziosità" is like "appetizers". That's why they didn't put "mcsfiziosita" because it would be like "mcappetizer"
He is not a chef he is a restourant owner
@@Lorre982 still you gotta have some cooking skill to open a restaurant
@@General_Grevious_ ma non é uno chef, sarà un esperto gastronomico ma non é mai stato a capo di una cucina ed é ciò che uno chef fa ovvero un capo cuoco.
Just fyi, you can find crema al caffè in almost every bar in Italy, and I'm sure the fanciest ones have some creative options with gianduia, wafer, and other chocolates. McDonald's didn't invent anything 😅 they're just proposing some Italian dishes again
Well, do I have GREAT news for you! You gotta visit McDonald's headquarters / Hamburger University in Chicago, they have menus from all over the world there!
i'm italian and i have to say 1 thing you didn't try the gran crispy mc bacon it's literally the best mc donald item i ever tried
This channel is the best. Their expressions their enthusiasm their tastebuds. Their sharing of food and of course Lord Z. So entertaining. I haven’t seen a bad one yet. Their accents!
And I think I’m going to make my sons lords for their birthdays!
I think Rev Chris is throwing an adult tantrum right now from FOMO 😂
Love the channel. Real Italian food looks amazing. The videos with Mr. Z have become my favorites.
You should have tried the crispy mcbacon, it’s probably the one that sells the most in Italy
You HAD to do this. Great tour, very entertaining.
you passed the impossible test, not coughing whilst ingesting tiramisu
Lol, I didn't know cocoa powder was so lethal 😅
At least if you don't try to snort a line of it
@@qdaniele97 oh man none of my friends can stop coughing. that was probably a GMO mc Donalds powder haha
Location: Ferrara
Region: Emilia Romagna
You should go to a chilean mcdonalds. they have so much stuff with their own tastes and flavors they usually like to eat, like manjar or everything with avocado
I love how Lord Z goes off somewhere and the boys immediately go McDonald's 🤣
I don't think I'll ever get over that laugh haha. Also, incase anyone was wondering, established titles does not have the authority to legitimately grant someone a lord title. That's a scam.
It's not a scam. If you read the info on their website, they are open about it, and it's meant to be for a laugh and to help with conservation.
Don't worry... the Crema al Caffè you can find it anywhere in italy, especially in cafes, and it's much better
As an Italian, I appreciate you guys trying Italian McDonald's 🤭🤭
From what I've heard, the best McDonald's food experience in the world is in Hokkaido, Japan. Not that I'd know, as I was too busy eating the best ramen in the world when I was there, but everything Hokkaido-based I've ever had was top-tier fresh and delicious, and tasted like it was made with a lot of love and care. If you like food, go to Hokkaido someday.
ESTABLISHED TITLES IS A SCAM. Look it up before sending me hate messages.
Thanks, I was going to gift to my daughter for Christmas 😂😂😂
I would genuinely love to see them trying different McDonald's all around the world, starting with Europe. That would be a hell of a series ❤❤
0:39 Wait a min?! So did your Korean Toast restaurant close?! This is news to me from the US! Bit sad to hear, as I wanted to try it and compare it to Isaac Toast!
I’ve clicked the subscribe button. Ollie’s humor is my cup of tea 😂😂
You must try the Crispy mc bacon at italian mc donald! That’s an insane burger!
The woman at the end in the striped shirt walking the 2 greyhounds, is possibly the most casual Italian thing I've ever seen.
I was not expecting a video!!! Thank you guys, you really made my day💗
English Muffin....so I was able to visit London in 1995 and stayed at a hotel called the Charring Cross ( I think it was) I'm a pastry for breakfast person and when I was there, we had a buffet and I tried one of their English muffins (are they just muffins there? lol) and some real butter and a little personal jar of jam. O M F G! I remember that breakfast to this day. I was running around telling the rest of the group "In America we don't have a clue what an English muffin is supposed to taste like!" I ate and ate and ate them. It was amazing.
