Thank you for watching 👍 The problem is those oil drain plugs are one time use only. If they can be reused, of course you can, but you do so at your own risk.
I don’t care if ‘professional’ dealerships use them. They can’t possibly empty the oil pan / tray as well as a proper traditional oil change. All the metal dust / wear will fall to the oil pan with gravity. Garages use them because they are quick and easy, not because they are better.
@@coldjello8436 why do you say that? I’m not a full on mechanic but I’ve always changed my own oil and brake pads. it’s a messy job and some oil filters are hard to get to. But if I do it myself, then I know it’s done properly and using the best parts and brands.
Hello 👋 The 2016 Audi A3 1.8L 4-cylinder engine has an oil capacity of 5.5 quarts, including the filter. Please read the description below! Thank you 👍
@@SuperBee79weird. Mine was a 2014 A3 1.8 quattro. CJS code engine. As per manual it needs 5.2L. I'm so sorry. Didn't notice u mentioned it in quartz. 😅
Hello I'm glad it helped you! Regarding what you say about the oil plug , it is true that too much Tiet can break the oil plug . It can be done with a flat screwdriver, but I recommend using an oil drain plug mounting tool Model: T10549 That tool is not that expensive and makes the job much easier and right 👍 Thanks 👍
My opinion regarding your question is that it depends on some factors why one oil may be better than another, factors such as mileage of the car, climate, etc. I always recommend that you read the car manual which will say exactly which oil is best for the car. In this video the oil I used was the one that the car manual says should be used. Thank you very much for your question👍
@@SuperBee79 Ciao io ho una Audi a3 con lo stesso motore della tua, e dal manuale della casa mi e' consigliato olio Long Life SAE 0W-30 Manutenzione II anni o 30.000 km
5w-40 works great as well especially on cold winter time works best i use it on my 11' a4 lowkey takes out the ticking sounds and when i use 5w-30 i hear more ticking but 5w-30 is the right one,i use 5w-30 on my 15' S3 🔥
These vehicles call for oil expressly complying with VW 502. 502 approved oils are available in 5W-30 and 5W-40 viscosity grades, so either is acceptable provided the oil used meets VW 502, which the oil used in the video does. Most with this engine will go with 5W-40, as that is what I see most people use in these.
Très bien merci beaucoup
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the video. We don't need to change the oil drain plug every time we do an oil change, do we?
Thank you for watching 👍

Thanks for the video. I'm seeing 0W-20 weight should be used (2023 model).
That is correct! The 2023 Audi A3 2.0L Turbo.
The factory recommended OEM Approved VW 508 00 Oil specification.( SAE 0w20 )
Thank you
Gg bro clean job
Thanks 💯👍
Good video, you might want to get a fluid extractor. You won’t have to lift or go underneath the car for oil changes anymore.

@@chasedwar2 you’ve never changed the oil in a vehicle, have you?

Thanks for the video, I’ve heard the plastic plugs can be fragile. Was that I special tool that you used or will a regular flat screw driver be ok?
