Welcome Ian McKenzie and thank you for watching. I appreciate your kindness and support. Glad to hear that your conch was great! You followed well! God bless you!
Auntie Melda... I just LOVE you! I just want to say thank you!!! Relocated in the US and watching your channel is so nostalgic. I feel close to home watching you and your voice and personality just lights up my heart! 💙💙💙

Hey Tiffany, thank you for watching and supporting my channel. Sure I will as soon as I am able to get some fish. It's on the list for you....please stay tuned and watch the ads as well. God bless.
Hey bro. you missed the live today. Yes, the cornmeal recipe is great! I feel like it's better than the flour (my opinion). Thanks for watching and I appreciate your support.
I have to try this. I wish I had some fresh conch. I have some old conch in my freezer. I will have to try those...lol.😁 I will try it with corn meal. Sounds so good. 😆
Lol Ms. Cookie, I'm sure there are many others who are far better than us. Nevertheless, I appreciate your kindness and support. I love me some Cookie!

Hi Melda, we watch quite a few of your videos and love them all. Question, why do we choose corn meal for crack conch but flour, baking powder and corn starch for crack chicken? Is it because the meat are different? Have you tried the corn meal with the crack chicken?
Hello Shanieka, thank you for stopping by today. That's a good question and yes it's because the meats are different and to show that the corn meal works as well. I have yet to try it on the chicken, but will soon, ok. God bless you, today!
Hello my friend, thank you for watching and supporting my efforts. Allow your conch to soak in the whole milk for about 15 - 30 minutes. To bruise mean to flatten out with a mallet. God bless you and happy cooking.
What do you mean by bruised? Looks good. I bought some conch from the fish market, is it normal for some of the pieces to have darker colors or should it all be clear? Might try this recipe. It looks good 👍🏽 How long should I soak it in milk?
Hello PT thank you for watching. I appreciate your kindness and support. To bruised is the same as to 'beat' or 'smashed' it. I was told that if the conch is dark it shouldn't be eaten - 'it might be' poison. I wouldn't use it. After beating the conch allow it to soak for about 10 to 15 minutes before cooking.
Melda 242 how long would you suggest it sitting in milk? Thank you so much for respond so quickly!❤️ My conch has been in milk for for about 30 minutes now.
Ms. Remelda: thank you for enhabcing my cooking skills. Just a few tit bits instead of using salt: I don't because the conch has lived all its life in salt water: so it's very high in sodium. I sprinkle the conch with fresh crushed garlic while it's in the milk In the cornmeal I add paprika
Hello Jenson, thank you for watching and supporting my channel. I appreciate your kindness. Oh yes, you can add garlic instead. I know that would be lit. I do sometimes as well, because I love garlic. Happy cooking and stay safe now.
Hello Jake, thank you for watching and supporting my efforts. You probably used too much. I always use only a thin layer. You could mix a little with flour and see how it works out for you. God bless and stay safe.
Hello Doone226, thanks for watching and supporting my efforts. Wow, it's the other way here. Well, whenever you can get some you must try this one. God bless you.
Welcome to my channel and thanks for watching. Two things: maybe the heat is too high or you are not cooking it long enough. I'll do a video with flour and show you soon.
