sir kindly let me know that what does thickness of the plates has any effect on amount of capacitance. if we have two capacitors of same area A of each plate of thickness 3 mm in 2nd capacitor of same area A of each plate but thickness of each plate is 10 mm. is this condition results in increase of capacitance?

If you charged the capacitor to 3000 volts, and just let it sit. How much would the voltage decrease per minute? Approximately of course.
