I never heard anything that said the coil had to be a certain size. Mine has worked great for a while but recently, the tachometer stopped working on my dash. Not sure if that has anything to do with the coil.
What amp fuse did progression recommend? Its not mentioned in their instructions, but would like to use the proper size based on demand. Thanks. I’m also having to go around my ballast resistor with a relay as well.
I don't think Progression Ignition provides any advice on what size of fuse to use. I used a 25 amp but I think some people use a 30. As long as you don't have too long of wire run and a descent size wire you should be ok. Don't run small wire though. You might start blowing fuses. I think I ran 12 gauge. 10 gauge is rated for 30 amps.

That coil is 1.5 ohm. They say to use .7 or less is it working ok with that coil?
