The Parents that care about the situation are saying that. They are afraid to speak up in open forum because "THEY FEAR RETRIBUTION"" That says it right there...

The blame can't be all shouldered on the School Coaches. It's the Parents responsibility to instill morals and "make sure "their Children don't think to highly of themselves". That's done by word and example "BY THE PARENTS".... Highschool Coaches and Teachers are not "Baby Sitters"

Gregory Palmer and coach Najjar. It's all coming out, Najjar's friend is still in prison maybe Palmer will rat on Najjar for a lessor sentence. Is this the same Gregory Palmer that rapped a child in the football team's field house back in 2003? offender.fdle.state.fl.us/offender/flyer.do?personId=44172#
Is he still in contact with George Najjar? Did he ever tell how he had keys to the field house? The cover up is big

    Let's see:
    1. They're not 'children' They're 17 or 18 year old young adults
    2. There was some steroid use.
    3. Some of them may be gay due to the 'anal penetration' mentioned on NJ101.5
    4. Some serious stuff went down we don't know yet since the prosecutors are wanting to prosecute the guilty ones for breaking the law..
    5. The school has to shut down the football program to avoid a Penn State mentality.
    6. The coaches aren't allowed in a locker room/shower where minors are nude, so some 'bad' things may just happen without school official supervision.
    Just my thoughts.

Call bullshit on this...There are no innocent kids...They are a team and all of them knew what was going on...They could've did something than just let their classmates and neighbors get raped and sexually assaulted...

warrior7772 Okay, I am as happy as can be that they shut down that damn football program. As my dad said, they need to close that down for a year or two and get those crazy people who LET THIS HAPPEN to these guys out, and put some sane people in there to make sure people aren't getting raped. the only thing I am sad about is my friend told me that she doesn't play any of the fun songs in marching band anymore because they don't play at football games. Also, when in the hell did I ever act like one of those silly parents who said "Oh, let the 'innocent ones' play", hmm? You should maybe read my entire post before judging me, or what ever the hell you just did there, calling me a 'head in the sand' parent. I don't even have kids...

"Some of them may be gay" Sexual assault has NOTHING to do with sexual orientation. Just as rape has nothing to do with sex. Fact: Studies show that the major motive for rape is power, not sex. --- I do agree the school did the right thing tho

xoLoVeisLiSa The head coach knows his past will come out, the steroids arrest, his nights at Uncle's Charlie's on Montague street in Brooklyn, 9th street or under the Gowanus expressway. The money owed out on Court street to "the boys" and the Rookie nights at camp Roosevelt in Monticello. All those boys are men now and they are talking, and thanks to outside groups that helped the Steubenville High School rape case. The victims of over 32 years have been talking to the press it's coming out.
