He talks as if we're in the dumpster with him. Words as watch your head. He has more saying , I just love him. I'm 74years old , he's a kid to me . I love him .
As a driver for waste management.. I see so much waste everyday, in landfills, and in dumpsters... this makes me happy to see someone doing good saving and recycling... I try to do the same hen I can Keep up the good work!
Never fails to amaze me, how much useful items that people throw out when they tire of it. Also, my speech patterns are now including "snibbets" and " a little sumpin". My wife asked me what the heck I was talking about, as I drove down the street looking over trash at the curbs. At 79, I am not going to start scrapping like you and Scrap and Pallet Man, but I do have a younger nephew who does it on a smaller scale off and on. But - - - I have taken to carrying a pair of linesman pliers in the trunk, to cut cords off appliances!
I got a free pressure washer (electric 1500 psi ) off the street as well, guy said it needed a chinese washer that could handle high pressure to stop it from leaking from the handle and spraying him in the face. He didn't want to order once from china just easier to buy a new one. I took it home and used a faucet washer and it's been works fine now :)
I've watched a couple others on here that do same thing you do... No one compares to your style, you can pack a truck like no other.. Keep posting and I'll keep watching
Mike, King of the Scavengers, another great haul of great stuff! You find beds, wheelchair, and all kinds of metal. Mike is the scrap whisperer, yes.😊💯👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽👍🏽🧔🏽🛻🥾🥾👑 Where is that feral cat we used to hear in an empty dumpster?
If you can get the generator running . Plug a drill into it, and pull the trigger while spinning the drill chuck with your hand.. It might just have lost it's magnetism to excite the windings. It's worth a try. If you let the generator set for a long time it can lose it's magnetism.
I really enjoy your videos. I tried watching some of the others but I don't enjoy them as much. I look forward to yours everyday. Keep them coming. Great job.
MIke really appreciate the way you do you scrap run like we are all sitting on your shoulder and along for the ride. you give great explanations as to what your doing. Keep up the great work.
I’ve been watching your videos for about 6 months now. I decided to do my first dumpster today after work, an open top. I went through that thing up, down and sideways, I moved pallets and heavy cardboard and all the f’n trash and I’m completely exhausted. You gotta be in great shape to do that all night. I filled a large bin with aluminum and snibits. Keep pumping out those videos, they are a learning tutorial.
Thank you Mike for allowing me to live vicariously through you. Love your videos. Keep on saving the planet and educating all of us on ways to help do the same. Sadly, as humans, we are so wasteful. Be safe out there!
I have been watching your channel for 2 years. The microwave glass plate is GREAT for making NACHES on. WATCH YOUR HEAD !!! You are a Great Person. Scrapper 👆 Life !!!
If you get that wheelchair to someone who repairs them, they can reuse lots of parts to fix wheelchairs for poorer people for free. You can be a hidden hero!
Another Successful Street Scraping and Dumpster Diving Adventure - You found some real Good Stuff and Such - well done indeed - Loving You Videos and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
The white board easle for poster board... save for your next yard sale signs. White metal boxes for wall unsafe. Great haul today. Thanks for sharing this video. Wishing you and your lady a blessed week. Peace brother.
Always a pleasure to see another video Mike. I can always use a good laugh. You lift my mood . I've been in a wheelchair for about 9 years. I miss diving. Thanks for taking us along
Those road signs you found are worth easy $15-20 each in a yard sale. very collectable for signage. Just thinking that it may be worth more to pick up stuff like that then 3-4" pieces of copper wire. Plus, folded up they take up very little space - assuming that you would save them for your next sale.
You missed a Lead Weight belt with with Lead on it with those fire extinguisher cabinets always check under stuff , You never never know what little treasures you could find Mike ,👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠️☮Cheers Mate
Someday you'll find all those spaceship parts, like the short clips of the walls going up in the truck 🚚, thanks for taking us on your adventures, PEACE ✌️
2 pressure washer started the day and the women liked your Headlight. LOL. THAT WAS GREAT! Good stuff in your video this time around. Thanks again Mike for the Journey
I leave all my scrap metal out for someone to pick up. It seems such a waste just to throw it away. I have lots of respect for people who do this for a living, hard work that hopefully pays.
I ADORE THE ENTHUSIASM YOU EXPRESS WHEN YOU LOCATE SCRAP AND INTERESTING JUNK and WIRES no matter how small..... you educate us as to what treasures you locate IN THE URBAN JUNGLE...plus how you inform your viewers as to what the items are actually labelled.... plus you treat the residents on the streets with such politeness and respect...........you always make us feel involved when you let us know what such valued dumpster divers like to pick up ......and where the "secret brass and copper pieces are . The ride is so much fun since your humour is a total hoot. !!! Your wonderful determination to search through the dumpsters and how your eyes are so sharp.....what ur vast knowledge what items are actually are ........make us feel so excited when you score even the smallest piece of scrap wires.
Mike your off to a good start with a power washer and a generator. Have a good weekend to you and your family. Those signs you found good for a man or woman cave. That double sided copper used for circuit boards or for shielding. Mike can you save those red caps you left behind 26:50 ? Dust caps. Mike the Stator or brushes. Since the regulator was already replaced. Could be what I mentioned. I always kept garbage bags with me curbside collecting. I would just throw it in a bag and seal it.
I can’t remember if I seen this video before. I probably have probably a couple times. But Mike is so damn cool I’m gonna watch it again old dumpster diver here. 71
Cleaning out my yard today after a renovation and got a nice scrap pile accumulating. Find myself saying 'snibbets' and 'scrap' over and over again while rifling though all the garbage. Thanks for that. :D
I do that as well, watching Mike is the highlight of my day I always smile and laugh, your the best at what you do, I’ve watched lots of other scrap people and some are boring and others don’t explain enough, but with you, you explain really well and your far from boring, I’d love to meet you for a chat, my husband and I both love watching you, we’ve been watching you for a long time now and we will keep watching whilst you keep posting, we are Mr and Mrs Smith and we live in Nottingham England, thank you for entertaining us xx
My friend Patrick Bateman still uses a business card and I'd advise not dissing it. He's very touchy about his card! 😉 Great video as usual Mike. You are the hardest working man in show biz!

A "Cordial" is an antique way to say a specific flavored liquore. Very sweet, slightly more alcoholic than a wine, but less alcoholic than a whiskey or vodka. Most often served alongside a dessert or after a formal dinner. In place of a Brandy.
Mike. In regards to your t-shirts. You could print six of the weirdest items found in the Residential trash and six in the Commercial dumpsters. Collect all twelve!!!. Let us not forget the underwater wiring complete with barnacles. We all want to remember these weird things. Oh snibbets too.
I'm amazed you pronounced cordial correctly as many Americans don't. Cordial is a sweet fruit or flavoured concentrate that you diluted with water and is a great beverage to drink cold with ice or you can even freeze it to make nice icy treat. Definitely not alcoholic. Enjoyed by many during the summertime :D think Kool-aid, but liquid instead of powder, and already sweetened.
A very good Sunday morning to you all in the USA from Wellington Somerset in the UK
The World needs more people like Mike.
