68 Rally Sport...with a STANDARD interior. MOST RS cars are in/out trim groups.

I used to have one just like it only had a white interior and a console. Wish I'd kept it.

I agree with you 100% on keeping the car completely original from what you see, but with (say) some safety upgrades that can be added discreetly enough. This car is the perfect example. I'd like to add this. I'm tired of hearing the consensus that the '69, the '69, the '69 is the ONLY first gen Camaro that matters. I said '69 3 times to illustrate the point the '67 and '68 just don't rate with the '69.
This is absolutely false. The '67-'68 is a sportier, sexier Camaro that's more sports car-like being a touch smaller than the '69. If you study the lines of the first two, they're more 'Vette-like' than the '68. Like the differences between the '65 and '66 Mustang, they're very, very similar but the 2nd year just has some nice, subtle 'refinements'. And, like the '69 Mustang, the '69 Camaro is kind of bloated by comparison.
I had a '69 Camaro back in 1978 when I was 21. I also thought it was the best year at the time, too. Mine was kind of run down, a 250 six, and some people gave me a hard time because it was a 6. Anyway, when the gas prices went sky high starting in '79, I was glad it was. The build quality and ingredients were cheaper I noticed on the '69; particularly the interior; particularly the dash and the top of it, which was already curling up at only 10 years old. Anyway, let those who go on and on about the '69 do it, and pay the exorbitant prices. They are on all 3 years, but more so on the '69. I still like it as a first gen Camaro, but not like the first two. After that it skips ahead to the '82-'92 3rd gen!!
