I am sold. I have watched it for over a year the EC Tuner, the first model required gunsmithing, not for me extra cost. This tuner is the right one to buy.
I recommend you try it, especiallyfor factory ammo. It was too easy. Gavintoobe just uploaded a video showcasing similar results. Erik Cortina has a video of him tuning an AR10 also. They just work. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Were you using his tuner brake or the original design that is machined behind your muzzle device? I too use Eric's EC tuner and agree it works! Thanks for the video and may all your groups be one hole!!
I was using the ec tuner brake for these. I haven't used the tuner that goes on the barrel with additional machining, but know a guy who does and I know it works great also. Thanks for watching!
ua-cam.com/video/-JN1SOjIpAc/v-deo.html. Here is a video where I did 5 shot groups subsequently. I had to find more components to have availability to test more.
EC Tuner recommends two-shot groups; this will save ammunition and time, plus a shortage of primers; two-shot groups are better until you see results go to a five-shot group or more. I got 18,000 primers.
Oh yeah, when i stop buying upgrades for my other pew-pews I'm getting two of these. One for my Savage Ashbury Precision 6.5 Creed, and one for the Savage B22 Magnum Precision.
@@andrewroberson724 The biggest surprise was how light the trigger pull is right out of the box. Pull gage showed 1.5#. Rifle comes with Savages' target trigger (the accutrigger blade on it is red). Got a MUELLER target 40X on it now. REALLY narrow field of view. Something like 3.5 feet @ 100yds. Wouldn't want to use it in any competition except benchrest. Nobody I can find makes .22 mag match ammo. Of all the different brands/weights/types I have none outshines the others. Best 100 yard group to date is 1.15". The bore doesn't have 50 rds down it yet. I'm confident it'll improve around 200 rds or to save ammo I'll lap and Flitz polish. Cause I can't leave anything alone I honed the bolt/action contact points with an Arkansas hard stone. Pretty da*n smooth now. Oh, other pleasant surprises were not having to bed the factory rail to the action, which was factory locktited. How often do you see that!? Didn't even have to lap the rings I selected. Didn't expect muzzle jump, but it does, so I put a break on the muzzle just so I could retain sight picture. Crap..., to answer your question "how I like it?"...., i love it. Sorry for rambling. :-)
@@carfvallrightsreservedwith6649 no need to apologize at all, I always enjoy learning from others and understand what they use and why. I appreciate it. I felt that was great info!
We use Peterson brass.. shit is phenomenal. I been trying to get a terminus action for another build. We use a 7mm rem mag. We ordered these breaks a couple days ago. Hopefully they help us.. we're using a proof barrel since it's for hunting.
Perhaps...I can say that weight is an advantage in most situations for what I do. However, you may want to email him at his website. I know for a fact he's always working on improvements

Really glad you found the review helpful. Enjoy the EC Tuner!

What about doing a 5 shot group? 2 shots cannot really represent a reliable group size....I can see the potential, but....

Would the EC tuner work on heavy barrel 1.2"-1.0" profile
Absolutely! I have a 1.25" tapered barrel. I actually replied in the 6mm Creedmoor fb group. ;)
@@andrewroberson724 I ordered one.
Hi All - seen the comment below on heavy barrels; my question is would the EC Tuner work on 300 Win Mag? Please share knowledge, Thanks
Hi and thanks for watching. It should. There are bore diameter options for up to .338 projectiles. I would email Erik. He's really helpful

I love Peterson brass. I think it's as good as Lapua. The brake should help you. Thanks for watching and let me know how the brake does!
