I'm from Hawaii and have never seen Elk, and these 2 hunts really got me excited. Well done to the hunters for 2 amazing animals. Nice video mahalo for sharing.
I grew up with out a dad no one to show me the ropes. I have been studying and practicing for years finally started hunting the last two years so I can show the way to my son. I can not wait for the moment my son and I can share the moment we are successful. We have tried for two years with failure but the memories are my wins. When we get one it will be a spectacular moment in our growing adventure as I see it is even with experience hunters.

My daughter just harvested her first 800 lb trophy 5x5 last weekend on a Texas youth hunt. She was one of 8 drawn out of hundreds of applicants. 7 miles of stalking, bloody toe nails, torn shoes, cactus thorns, it was the HARDEST hunting a father and 14yr old daughter has ever endured. She was blessed for her hard work and never giving up. Our bond is forever tightly sealed for life by this adventure that we shared together. Will pray your day with your son will come soon.
I am 74 years old and have been hunting with my youngest son for a long time. No hunting trip with your son is ever a failure. period! Keep at it, you will never regret a minute of it.

Some years back my wife and I were having a yard sale. A woman at the sale went into my back yard where I had a number of elk racks stored. Three of the racks were very large. She came to the front and wanted to buy the larger of the three. I told her I would sell her the large one for $500. She thought it was to much money. I said to her, get yourself a rifle, buy a license, and hunt down a large bull yourself and see if you think it's a lot of money. All she could say was, "point taken". A man can hunt all his life and never get a bull over 300.
Great Bulls! That 2nd one is a "TOAD"! And I hear ya regarding taking people out, either Hunting or Fishing, Crabbing, Clamming, doesn't matter, it's just a blast to take others out to enjoy our Natural Resources!

I feel ya on the excitement of helping someone else on their hunt. I helped a buddy get his first bow this year and took him out on his first archery elk hunt this week. We got into a small group and even though the bull wasn't calling nor coming in, I called in a calf to within 35 yards from my buddy and he was so excited he almost just shot the calf! He loved it and I enjoyed sharing my passion with him. Cheers! Thanks for the great content!

Eva great bull. Loved watching the elk. There, at the end, was a great, great bull. You said it wasn't big enough. TROPHY HUNTER'S should not be allowed to hunt anymore, and all mountain land should be seized and returned to the public, including ranches! TROPHY HUNTER'S ARE RICH AND HAVE OVER STEPPED IN THE MEAN8NG OF WHAT THE HUNT IS ALL ABOUT!

Terrible shooting, She needs to spend more time at the range 2nd never approach a down animal from the front, always from the back, and 3rd never put you're rifle on the deck, extend those bipods, you take care of you're gear and it will take care of you. Amateurs pretending to be experts.
Bro, it was her first hunt. That bull was dead 15 minutes before they got to it. Chill!!!
Her first shot was perfect, the she hit him on the second, he was dead on his feet before the 3rd hit him
And....The bull was actually expired for 2 hours before we even walked up to it because we didn't want to disturb the rest of the elk.
