- Today we are going to talk about how living the dream, or being on the open road in a full time living adventure is not exactly what you think. Full Time Travel has drawn the attention of millions of people from all around the world for decades. Since the explosive RV growth that started in 2020, many, MANY individuals, couples and families have done what we decided to do as well; and that is to sell most of their worldly possessions, find a way to travel and then hit the open road with NOTHING but the horizon ahead of them. OMG!! You won’t believe it. We just moments ago said to each other “we really miss ‘Our not so perfect Life’. The we open up you tube (on a very slow connection) and here you are! We are a retired couple with 8 kids (long story) that have really appreciated your story and struggles and the love you share. All good stuff. Not always fun for sure. We went full time in June of this year and have faced challenges already but we’re still here. Did I mention it is 10 degrees outside right now? None the less, so glad you are back and amongst the living. Keep on keeping on they used to say. Maybe that’s not a thing anymore but you get the idea!❤️

Great video guys, stuff not many talk about. I don't even know how you do it with kids, we have annoying days just with 2 dogs! I am thankful Laurence has his office that can be closed off and I prefer to be out hiking and doing stuff all day, because I couldn't imagine being stuck in the RV all day. I do love the RV community & the invention of things like volley that allow us to keep in touch. As you know, we've had a few blows last year also and we have no idea what 2023 lays in store for us right now. But hopefully our paths will cross again!
It has been a lot of fun getting to know you guys more! Definitely looking forward to the day we can all sit around and laugh with each other again! We are hoping for the best for you guys as well, hang in there!

4:10 I've owned my RV for 18 months now. My wife and I started RV fulltime from watching you guys. We get to our latest park. Get all set up and make sure we're bundled for the below freezing temps. Get up in the morning from a water leak from our gas hot water heater. Okay. Turn the water off and run off the water pump. Water pump is out, too. What next?
Sometimes when it rains, it pours😬 We feel you on this. Life has its challenges for sure - just gotta keep on keeping on and enjoy the journey!

No matter how much you love someone or love spending time together, you each need your own time alone or doing something you enjoy. We’ve considered flying back home from time to time for different things,. Even going to the grocery store or a craft show or going to the shooting range and blowing off some steam. It’s healthy and ok to do. Sorry about your major issue with your rig. That can be irritating, especially 4 months dangggg. Stay healthy from Michigan!

Thanks for the update. We were missing your videos. We understand a major hold as well as we have been without a truck engine for over 3 months now and the Ford dealer can't tell us when Ford is actually going to get one to them for us and the cost is over $23,000 that we did not have a budget for so reworking finances is an issue as well. Any suggestions are welcome. Stay safe.

Oh man guys, we are soooo sorry to hear about this! Yikes. Do you guys full time? Is your truck still under warranty or is it all out of pocket? Did you check to see if your Ford has any recalls due to engine issues?
If there’s anything we do know is... keep your head up, it can be a grueling process to be in limbo. All will work out, hang in there!!!

Update on what’s going with us….. we are officially full time now!! We are currently staying in Quartzsite 😅 yes our first trip we decided to boondock for a month 😳 that is a good way to jump into this lifestyle 🤣🤣🤣🤣 we are having a great time. Met some amazing people who coincidental we will be working with at Astoria KOA in Oregon!!

With teen kids in an RV, you want to have sex as you alluded to, go have fun in the shower house at the campground, send them out to see a movie at a theatre. You know that, the whole RV shakes doing the deed. If you have little ones it is easy and tell them it is the washer, even though you don’t have one. My problem we don’t have kids, my wife is loud so I have to muffler her. Hope you get your RV soon. Great video!

Are all RVs Junk; Trash; Broken; and a Money Pit. My latest in throwing money in the pit is a new roof and the additional damage caused by the leak. Oh and by the way it was caused by just walking on the roof to clean it off before we hookup and go. The extended warranty dose not cover it and our rv insurance dose not cover it so we are done when we get all of this fixed it is going on the market.

@@Ournotsoperfectlife Got it, I see it now. Hubby just retired the week of Thanksgiving. We still have a home base in Southern Ca to come back to a few times a year. We are currently traveling in our Montana and we are in Indiana in freezing weather to visit our daughter and son-in-law and our only grandbabies who are almost 2 and 4 to spend Christmas with and then take the babies to the Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio. Keeping fingers crossed for decent weather. I hope you get the 5th wheel back soon. Looking forward to your next video. Take care guys.

I’m not sure welding would fix this issue😬 Wish it we’re that simple!! But so glad your friends were able to fix theirs. We sure hope to get everything taken care of soon, but who knows how long it’s gonna be😬😅
We enjoy the channels where the RV’s show us how they deal with these types of challenges. What they do when RV is in the shop, dealing with kids or pets needs, etc. We miss your videos and hope you can keep us posted.

Great to see you again. Just keep your eyes on the Lord and He will guide you. We had some major road blocks this month and had a change of plans as well. Wow really glad to see you guys! Sounds like major changes are in the wind and sometimes these changes are good. The fact that you're listening to the boys says tons about how much you care and how very important it is to give them the quality of life they not only want but need. I'm truly sorry I haven't reached out to you guys but change is in the wind for us as well. It's looking more and more like we're going to have to sell our little home. Not because we're tired of it but physically I am looking at a new knee and another ankle surgery to remove the plate and pins that were put in to keep my ankle together. I've come to the end of the road pain wise and don't want more pills and injections ruling my and LeAn's lives.
Life is always not so perfect it's what keeps it fresh and fun, most of the time. The times that it's not we bend but don't brake and like you said change happens. How you deal with those changes decides what your life is going to look like in the future. If we sell the Rig because we can no longer keep up with it we'll still travel. Hotels are everywhere and if you book far enough out you can get great pricing (most of the time). Jason and Dellynn you have always been truthful and upfront about how it's going and we appreciate that very much. You show a side of RV life that's not always rosebuds and unicorns, a real and truthful perspective. Keep it up we'll keep watching. The fact that you're still so upbeat, smiling and laughing and loving life with everything you're facing is incredible. You are an example to us all that no matter how tough it gets you still can make some sweet Lemonade out out of the lemons you've been dealt. How wonderful an example is that.

I learned from my parents who were fulltimers before full timing RV was fashionable on YT. 1. Mamma must have her nest, no exception. If you disregard this rule as a male, you are screwed. So have a home base she can make her home. 2. Only purchase an RV and/or tow vehicle you can literally walk away from if SHTF. If you're tied to your RV/vehicle and can't just walk away or don't have a home base, you will lose. All other issues, revert back to rules 1 &2.

Love seeing you both again very much! I sure understand everything you posted in this particular video. My husband retired 15 years ago and we were together 24/7 for the first time. Huge adjustments had to be made. We had to determine new territory that had never been mapped out. And as far as change goes, my husband was diagnosed with a severe form of lymphoma eight months ago, and just finished four months of very intense chemotherapy. There are many detours along the road of life and we just have to navigate them the best we can. Life is certainly a journey and one that we learn from constantly. God bless you both and I wish you the happiest of New Years! We have had to put our RV travel on hold for the past year, but we hope to get back on the road when we can.
