Great video! What would you say are your #2 and #3 overall massage chairs? I currently have the JP Medics Kumo, and while I love it, I definitely have some complaints that I want to address when I get a new chair soon. -Is this chair stronger than JP Medics Kumo? -Do you know the PSI on the airbags? One of my bigger complaints with the Kumo is that the airbag inflation could be stronger, but it also doesn't hold the bags at max inflation for more than a few seconds. Thanks!
Thanks so much. The #2 and #3 best chair really depends on your specific needs, for example your height, your weight, do you have particularly wide shoulders? Do you generally prefer deep tissue massage or are you rather new to massage? Are there specific parts of your body that you really want the chair to be able to focus on like your upper back and shoulders for example? We give free recommendations over a quick phone call. @@meowser171 Both the Osaki Duomax and the Osaki Vivo are definitely two of the best massage chairs from Osaki, each with its own strengths and advantages! The Vivo offers a wider seat, which is ideal if you’re looking for more space, while the Duomax excels in its unique features. We'd be happy to help you compare them and find the chair that best suits your preferences. @@meowser171I haven’t sat in the Vivo, but I’ve studied these things like crazy and I think these chairs are more different than you might think. I believe the Vivo shares the same 6-roller dual mechanism track and the same controller software as found on the Infinity Imperial, Kyota Nokori, and probably other chairs as well. Who knows who actually makes the mechanism, but it appears the mechanism and controller software are a package. I have sat in the Imperial, and while it is good, it is not nearly as strong as the Duo Max can get (I’ve sat in Duo Max). There’s another YT’er who reviews (and sells) lots of chairs, he distinctly prefers softer massages, and for that reason he prefers the Vivo. He also confirmed the new Grand Duo is gentler than the Duo Max. From what I’ve been able to gather, the Duo Max is the strongest dual mechanism chair, especially 8 roller chair, currently on the market, and I really like the controller software compared to that of the Vivo/Infinity/Kyota, and haven’t seen it on another chair myself. I’m just a customer who recently ordered a Duo Max-I love the strength, software, piano key arm massage, and the wrap around feel the DM gives. Unfortunately, since almost everyone involved in the industry is selling chairs, it’s really tough to get a straight answer on a lot of these questions.

Thank you for your message. Regarding the number of airbags (as well as # of motors and rollers), a common misconception is that a bigger number is better. However we would not recommend making a buying decision based on this. Over the years, some chairs with a smaller number of airbags have higher customer satisfaction. Some manufacturers will take 1 airbag and put dividers on the inside so they can then call it 5 airbags. What is more important than the number of airbags is massage area coverage. In other words, you want a chair with airbags that provide coverage for your shoulders, forearms, hands, hips, calves and feet.

I assume vivo is similar or better? Vivo also has a 20.5” chair width vs 19” in case you want a larger more powerful chair.

Compared to the Osaki Maestro do you see more repairs required in one over the other?

So i see this says only 32 air bags. Is that a bad thing as other high end models have over 60? Not sure more air bags = better though...
