Thanks Kevin. It was a short flight. Very little lift, and what was there was small and limited to maybe 2,500 ft high. But it was the first flight in 45 days or so, so it was about time. The landing was very interesting. The crosswind came more direct from the south, gusts to 17 knots. Notice how much left roll I had to hold just to stay in line with the runway. Makes for a confidence builder!
My Stemme is grounded now for the clutch issue, they all are. Hopefully soon they fix that. Keep in touch for a flight. It gives me one more excuse to fly.

No issue, just no lift. I planned from the beginning to make it a fairly short flight. Guessing there would be nobody at the R/C flying field for a flyby, and having no other place of interest to go to, and wanting to get a flight in, I made this one short. The takeoffs and landings are the challenge anyway. This one with its crosswind was especially rewarding.
Oh, and nice stick jockeying too!
Hope you had a great of flying!!!

Sure beats flying an Oly!
Yes it does! Haven’t flown an Oly since 1973 I think.
@@ricklederman SOAR Nats. It said "Mashed Potato" on the wing. I'd say that's pretty accurate. Looks like you're having fun in your Stemme. Very Cool!
@@claysmoker1 ok, I give up, you are right on. Who r you?

Curious. I didn't understand why you chose to land back at the airport just after leaving it? Was there an issue?
