You've convinced me to preassemble as much as possible before taking this swing set to my daughter's, where I won't have a concrete floor and won't be able to find the tools I want. Here, I can take my time, watch your video again in case mine is missing instructions, and stay calm..... Thanks!

I assembled swing sets for 7yrs, my #1 advice for ANYBODY... First thing, take a phillips screwdriver to each hole in the tubes, and pry the "push punched" tabs out of the way, making every hole nice, open, & unobstructed - 90% of assembly aggravation gone right there. Trust me, Lol.

Is anyone else watching this struggling with getting the screws on the slide's support beam to stick?
I am. Cannot find support anywhere!
@@justinalexander7815 I just used a longer screw and assembled it in the order they did in the video instead of the manual.

As it turned out, I didn’t preassemble, but it wasn’t a bad project. The worst part was that a) one leg had been badly damaged in warehouse/shipping and b) nobody answered the phone at the company office. So, the kids have a 7-1/2-legged swingset, and I’ll get a replacement leg made at a muffler shop this summer. They’re small enough to think it’s fabulous as-is (& it’s still safe for them at this size).

One of the biggest things that I did not mention in the instructions video
is the fact that slide is made out of cheap plastic and therefore it does not work well. The top layer is not slippery at all and it looks like matte finish. Usually, a plastic slide will shine and have no traction while this is the total opposite.
