For me , all chapters are still worth playing .The mimic is an awesome game made by awesome devs .We can't debate which chapter is better and which chapter is the worst .We can only agree that the mimic is awesome.
As someone who is really close to break the world record of speedrun of this chaper I can say it is definitely worth playing it again and again. Also in Nightmare is it for speedrunning better because the monsters are since more agresive, but they are a bit faster so I dont have to wait too long time for the right moment. Alsoo some tips? Yes. In Hiachis Maze after you will cross the last picure there is a hiding spot next to the wall, you dont see her coming, but when you will hear her footsteps and sing her very loud and close to you you should go to the end. It is always working, it never failed for me :-D
its good if you wanna have fun but the nightmare mode reward is underwhelming (gives nothing but a badge) for it's difficulty (hotel maze is hard if you dont know kuriko's pattern)

When Book 2 chapter 2 released, i started playing mimic and honestly i never escaped 1 chapter even the book 1 chapters, im now on jealousy and im struggling to get past rin but everytime i almost finish it my friend says he gotta go

Imo no (The first chapter is just walking simulator tbh, Since there isnt as much creative/fun task to do, Basically u just wait for the best timing in each part) Tho if ur new then yes have fun struggling in mazes

And you dont need kuriko's path.
