Once you get down how the wedges and squares function together when using these foundations, you can get nutty with your base and it looks awesome. You use less resources when doing this as well since the majority of your flooring is ceiling tiles. The down side is PVP structural weak (but great for stealth building) and once adapted, it very difficult to go back to normal ground building and you get bored easily with square designs.
arborist foundations are essential for breaking point platform extensions,, the only problem, we cannot cover them with the reverse tiles for more protection considering it is an architectural weakness,, but very usefull to gain room, easiest way is to build starting at the top of the tree, and find its center,
The biggest enemy to treehouses in this game is structural integrity, since triangle foundations suck down a lot of SI when trying to build a radius. The new foundations just aren't much better than the old ways, if not are worse simply because they match the existing geometry WORSE than how we've been doing it.

The final product is worth it though. Very nice and asymmetrical, but functional

You know if this build is purge proof, every build I do the purge spawns in my base and destroys it fast
you need to have some foundation (at least one continuous block) extending all the way to the ground for the purge to spawn outside your base.

the idea of it is cool but leaves you with very limited space. not recommended for ppl like me who like a huge area lol
