  • It was great seeing the original Bullitt Mustang. I'm wondering how many millions its going to sell for..This has to be one of the best cars shows you can go to, even though its an auction. It’s hard to get a good view of the beautiful colors of the cars because of the back light coming in from the outside of the tents. This video might give you a different perspective of what you see on TV, it gives you an idea of what it’s like checking out the cars going up for auction, outside around the grounds. PS. It’s OK to open the doors on most of them.

This show is a WOW!! I like the wide variety and the rare cars of the 50's!! I've been watching the youtube mecums! It is a stream without commercials!! Takes a few days to watch all of the days, but I love it!!!

Thanks for the video of the unique cars. It is difficult to imagine how much work to restore and keep them in a good condition.

OH MY GAWD! A 1968 Mustang Fastback! The most beautiful car ever built (in my opinion, of course)!

So many incredible cars that it makes your head spin. I meet Dana, Mark Delzel and other crew members when they had the Bloomington Gold franchise over 30 years ago. You couldn’t find nicer people.

I'm familiar with Mecum advertising, but thanks to you Bill, this is my first time viewing their auction site and man what a sight to behold...WOW! Got Milk... coming home in a Divco honey, throw on the bacon/eggs. Great job Bill, now put your feet up, kick-back and unwind.

I think the one of a kind Studebaker pick up was donated to Billy Graham's ministry. A gentleman built it and drove it only once . He passed away and his widow donated it. Franklin Graham was there when it sold. I think it sold in the $ 80,000 range. Some beautiful rides sold at Mecum ! Thank you for sharing !! God bless you all !!!! Eddy

'Eye Candy Overload'..That's a great turn of phrase. Oh those mid-sixties Pontiacs' make me go weak at the knees and get my eyes bulging out like that guy in 'Terminator'. But you said it much better than me, Cheers

36:30 Littler Red Wagon wheelstander. Saw that at US 30 dragstrip. 1982. Set the strip on fire, the end of the 1/4 mile had so much oil and grease on the grass, the sparks from the wheelie bars for effect set it off.

Our 66 Shelby GT350H at 34:05. Sold for 220K on Saturday. Lot S239. Also, we had a 63 Split Window Corvette at 58:15. T160 that set a Mecum record for a non Fuelie at 140K on Thursday. Enjoyed your video, excellent job!

The custom car at 54;01 is the Aztek, a 55 Chevy customized by Barris Kustoms in the 50s. It was one of their first Custom cars. Sam Barris worked on this one with his brother George.

Every time a I see any car that doesn't have electronic fuel injection, I have flashback nightmares iykwim......never again thank you. They look fantastic and I have much respect for those that love them enough to keep them running right. 3:59 Camaro - no details given - if it was a numbers matching '69 Z28 or '69 SS 396 with a manual it would have sold - comprende - any 6 cylinder Camaro can be rebuilt to anything they made..........

The epitome of a GLUT of old cars.
How many like this event occurs every years?
I am not really amazed the bullitt car went to HIGH.
Ppl win the lottery, completely stupid as before the winnings, go here for their “Grandeur “ experience only to realize the next morning, dozens of celebrity cars over the years, every bit as rare, went for 1/10th as much.
    LOL
    Oh well!
