What’s up with our pitchers having like 70 pitches through four innings or some other inefficient number? I know we have a good pen but our pitchers don’t do 7 or 8 innings anymore.
@@jeremiah_12 he’s a strike thrower sometimes that happens especially when his velo is down a tick. The reds were just throwing their bats at it tonight. But even on an off night for him he kept us in the game
@@jeremiah_12 Shuster and Dodd are rookies; Wright probably returned one game too soon; Charlie is almost 40 but always struggles in April; and Strider is lowering his velo the first few innings to try to go longer, but it's having the reverse effect. Hopefully he scraps that approach and just throws gas.
I believe Sam Hilliard has earned his spot. Once Money Mike is back hillsides becomes the everyday LF Rosario and D’arnaud share the DH position.

Notes From the Game:
- Spencer Strider didn't have his Best Outing, But was able to get past the 5th. He Finished with 5 Innings of 4-Hit, 3-Run Ball, Walking 2 and Striking Out 9. It's a No Decision, but he Persevered through it, and that's enough for me.
+ Credit to the Bullpen AGAIN though for making sure the Game NEVER got out of hand. Three Pitchers worked to finish the Final 4 Innings, Giving up just 1 Run on 2 Hits, Walking 2 and Striking Out 5. Kirby Yates gets his first WIN of the Season, Getting through the 8th with 1 Walk and 1 Strikeout.
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 4 Runs, 6 Hits, 4 Walks, 14 Strikeouts, No Home Runs Allowed.
Despite going 3-14 with Runners in Scoring Position (RISP), the Braves YET AGAIN HAD THE WILL TO WIN!
+ Acuna with a BIG Night! 3-4 with 2 RBI Singles, and a Double, tallying 3 RBIs in Total. Acuna stands in with a .370 Average with an OPS of .989!
+ Sean Murphy Continues to get Cooking! a 1-4 Night with an RBI Double in the 3rd. Murphy holds onto a .219 Average, But his OPS has climbed to .843!
+ ROSARIO IN THE CLUTCH! 2-4 with a Double and the GAME-DECISIVE SOLO SUPER MISSILE IN THE 8TH! Rosario clings to a .229 Average, .641 OPS, and 1 Home Run on the Year!
- HUNTER GREENE, WTF?!! He WHACKS Orlando Arcia in the Hand with a 98 MPH FASTBALL! THANK GOD the X-Rays Returned NEGATIVE. We'll continue to monitor Arcia's Health, but I wouldn't be surprised if he either takes a Short Stint on the IL.... AND HE WAS WHITE HOT, TOO!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Austin Riley had a 2-Hit Night with a Walk, While Ozzie had just 1-Hit, and Hilliard Had One Walk. Adrianza, Olson, and Ozuna were unable to get on base Tonight, with Ozuna's Average Dropping to an ALARMING .083.
+ Once Again, NOT the prettiest result tonight, BUT A SWEEP IS A SWEEP! All that Blind Effort from the Directionless and Incompetently Run Cincinnati Reds, And what did that get them? Being Forced to Walk Back North on I-75 EMPTY--HANDED. I'll take a sweep anyway it's earned!
+ The Mets and Marlins Won Today, While Philly and Washington LOST. This Keeps the Braves 2 Games Ahead of New York, 3 Games of Miami, While Pushing Philly and Washington Back to 4.5 and 5 Games Behind Respectively.
What's Next?
There will be NO Rest for the Clueless Reds, as while they will return to (Not-So) Great American Ballpark, awaiting them will be the Braves' Most BITTER Rival: The Philadelphia Phillies. Bailey Falter will take the Rubber for the Phils, who is coming off a Decent Outing against these same Reds, giving up just 1 Run on 4 hits over 5 Innings in a Winning Effort Last Saturday. The Reds will Counter with Nick Lodolo, Who Shutdown the Phillies over 7 Hits, allowing only 3 Hits and 2 Walks while Striking Out 12, Yet getting a NO-Decision! Ozuna is such a hot or cold hitter. He will either strike out 3 times or hit 2 homers in a game. We need a more consistent batter than him at the end of the order. On another note bring up Grissom please.

Great win, but the starters must be better. Yes, Strider struck out 9, but threw a TON of pitches in the first and 3rd innings. Bullpen's getting a ton of work, but no need to overwork them this early in the year.
Strider woke up after the mound visit in the 3rd I think it was and then returned to his dominance wright will get better he just needs a few more starts to get his rhythm back fried will be back from the injured list probably next week which will likely see shuster and Dodd permanently in triple A except for double headers and elder has been great. The braves also have their starting cf a top reliever and the closer on the injured list. All of these issues should be sorted in a month at the latest and despite all of them the braves currently hold the best record in the NL
