Hi Buckin ... Since being injured w/insurance denied medical and forced into retirement after 47 years of fulltime work ! You have given me a reason to keep going in life! Like my parents have always taught me that there is no free ride in this country !!! Thanks G. Pete
I've heard Buckin advocate for this before, but it still gives me a chuckle every time I hear it: "Stop powersaw abuse". It's like the woodman's Public Service Announcement.
Buckin’, I’m a firefighter/paramedic in the northeast US by trade and a part time woodchuck on the side selling fire wood and recently getting into milling lumber. I have learned a lot from watching your videos and recently I have gotten my 3 year old son absolutely addicted to watching you drop some real big trees. He gets so excited when it falls. You have a real talent for what you do and your messages of inner peace and tranquility are truly wonderful to see and hear in a very turbulent world. Keep up the awesome work and thank you for what you do!
I am always impressed buy your generosity. Whether it is buying the orders behind you at Tim Hortons or giving those guys some items out of the Buckin store. The world needs more good people like you.
You cannot know how much your advice on self acceptance and in general the truth of how important the work on the inside is. Trauma is so difficult to deal with, own, and let go of. Seeing somebody who is doing it and being an example of how we can both Love and be a man is often THE inspiration that I need to keep doing the work. Thank you.
we are constantly creating was is coming at us with our thoughts and deeds . be sure of the sponsoring thoughts my friend . your vibration already says alot about you that is good. its easy to tell in yer comment , thx friend
Beautiful sticks of wood wow. That cedar sure cuts nice and man that fir is georgious. That saw eats wood like crazy. Nicely tuned and sharpened for sure. Thanks for sharing this with us. Congrats fellas on the merch. Love ya Buckin. 🌲❤🌲👊🪓
Being g from the east coast I don't get to see very many big saws with big bars but love how they blow through big west coast wood. There's nothing like the sound of a 2 stroke just singing with all she's got , keep up the awesome content sir your an inspiration to the world 👊
Love ya Buckin’. Caught myself saying “Daniel Son!” yesterday doing a bit of splitting. Thanks for the laughs brotha, and keep spreading the positive vibes. Zack - Michigan.
When you mention that gut feeling; tension, angst when back cutting, darned, that’s me. I don’t believe I’ll ever change as these last moments before felling cause me to rethink, re-examine, double check my calculations. For me I think I need that worm in my belly. Thanks for another great vid. I learn a little something every time, whether it’s about the saw, the cuts, the felling or myself. God Bless.
I really love this guy! I have a small forest of my own, and i get so much inspiration from him. Both from his work, and from his great personality. Thanks Buckin´ Love from Denmark
Another beautiful day in the woods Buckin. You looked like you were at peace with the world....and your powersaw. You were not in a hurry and you did a mighty fine job on that cedar tree my friend. Loved it!
These tree cutting videos are gold Buckin. With the overview it gives those of us who are a little hesitant the knowledge to go and take a new challenge. Thanks my friend. Being kind
Thanks Buckin I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. For me I’m a youngster as at using a saw and this is showing me more than I can thank you for. I appreciate it eminently.
Great intro.... Keep us guessing Keep us entertained We keep you in our hearts 🌲 So good to see you wear gloves, don't let the fingers get too chilly. Playing metal cans with the hands in the winter could get get chilly, but they sound so cool...🧤
Beautiful sticks of wood , that cedar straight grain bugger , nice. The fur is quite a dandy , great firewood. Prity property looks like a vary nice stand a different spices of wood. Love wins.
For year and a half now I have enjoyed every video you put out you do wonderful stuff. Today I traded for a 59cc echo chainsaw good chainsaw now I've got a bunch of steals and I've got an echo and a couple Chinese chainsaw and my giant 122cc hospital chainsaw keep up the good work
Picked up an old Mac 610, the guy said it hasn't been ran in years and years. Thought I was gonna have to mess with it a bunch. Some fresh gas and she fired straight away. Can't wait to use the monster
I have occasionally hung a large maple up in another maple tree when cutting firewood. So far I have lived through it . It happens rarely but it’s disconcerting. One day could you show us none professional folks some tips on dealing with hang ups. Thank you, stay out of the bit. You friend Gary.
When I've got to tell you I have surpassed my doctors I expectation date expiration date excuse me but a week and a half and I went out and fired up my new echo chainsaw and I felt great and it's all because of you thank you Billy Ray
Had a tree come over the road up by my place this morning (in New Zealand), would have been at about 24 inches on the stump, one of the lads clearing it was running a Stihl 462 on a 32 inch bar that for sure was ported and piped because that thing was wailing like a banshee. But I swear that Poulan 655 cuts so much harder. What a beast. I want one now She cuts eh?
Great job buddy is so awesome to see you look up before you make the final cut and thank you so much for teaching people to do the right thing God has amaze me with you and you’re such an awesome dude keep up the great work and content because our always fall argue no matter what Tell your boy and your wife I said hello take care of my fella catch you on the cut
Hey buckin. I heard u say u use watco for your handles. Is it watco danish oil? Tung oil? Does it have a tint. I really like the finish. Would like to get some for myself. Thanks!
I own a decent sized farm and I cut down trees for firewood and to sell some higher quality logs. All of your safety tips are on point and here in Slovenia we take safety very seriously. I just don't understand one thing. Why do you cut and split most of those beautiful logs for firewood? They are worth a decent amount of money because from my perspective they look like 1st class logs for making furniture.
I live in Denmark, we barely ever need to go past a 25" bar. Some of the quality in bigger size he uses for firewood would definitely be worth transporting for milling here. You've gotta realize they simply have more trees in this caliber of quality and size. A single tree or two might be worth selling to a mill on the odd occasion, but most of the time it's not viable economically to transport when the mill can get the same stuff by the truck load from an actual large scale production falling operation..
Dry that cedar out and you should have kindling for a good while..you gotta bring the Key shirts back mine came in and it's good enough that I'd love to get a couple more...makes me want to get out camping and cutting firewood soon but it's still hibernation time here...have a great day, take care and be kind
Love the videos! Keep them coming. Watching from just across the strait in Bellingham, WA! Maybe we could do a collab one day when it gets easier to cross the border :)

G'day Buckin (and the army). Could anyone please tell me where he got that brown padded work belt with black rings and those sharp matching brown suspenders with black clasps? I tried to find out in the Q & A vids. I didn't see it. I know where the weaver pouches are from, but thats not the same belt & suspenders. Thanks for spreading kindness! Such a genuine guy, Buckin'!
wow !9:00 in When you have no option but to buck a 20' x 25" CLEAR CEDAR LOG, into firewood (? do people really burn cedar? soft resiny wood; I know it smells great), there is something definitely wrong in the timber industry ! That Poulan rocked Billy !
Just curious why you're bucking that beautiful cedar rather than making boards or something? Also I would like you to explain more about saw safety... like how that shut off handle actually works and kick back. How do you know it's safe to one hand...etc. love the show.
That saw cuts wood like Bellhoppers alky saw, only more practical. What a monster. Lots of bar and chain there to pull too. That is a Hot rod. is that a factory air cleaner?
This cedar is or looks like a beautiful tree where I’m from that would have gone to saw mill , I’m curious why you cut it for firewood Larry logger the lone timber wolf

That go pro of the cedar leaning and then dropping was amazing 🔥
I’d be shaking my head too! That Poulan Pro 655 is a mean cutting machine!
I love your channel you give Joy in my heart , There is nothing better than a power saw screaming😋🤪
Wow, that PP655 is nasty! Your excitement in running it is overflowing! Love you all...❤️❤️❤️
Lieutenant Bradley
It still sounds like a Poulan. I should know, I’ve got several 1970s models. Interesting how they still have a distinct sound to that brand.
Beautiful sticks of wood , that cedar straight grain bugger , nice. The fur is quite a dandy , great firewood. Prity property looks like a vary nice stand a different spices of wood. Love wins.
Like that Poulan Buckin! Very gnarly sounding! Thanks for sharing and nice tree work sir!
The amount of wood that saw throws out is so satisfying, watching that tree fall right in that hole was even better

Buckin, this is a great video and the session with EC was just a treat. Keep safe young man. Joe.
This seems like a situation that is a calculated risk. It can go either good or bad depending on the actions you take.

sad to see that cedar bucked up - poor firewood, excellent boards. Surely there is a local sawyer with a portable mill!

Being from Ontario we don't get Cedars as big as you do. It's a shame to see those nice Timbers bucked up for firewood.
Never hang around a stump, two hands on the saw, alway look up, don’t smash your dogs in the logs Buckin!
Stay safe island friend!
Billy, do all the felled trees have to be firewood?
0:11 is the straightest tree I've ever seen! The lumber one could harvest would be GOLD!
