True, very true. How far must the man's pain comes, how much must one man bear.. And how much he must sacrifice, to give everything from himself, from his soul, from the very him for LOVE. This is devotion, passion, forgivness, honour, all the values which Jamie represents in this show. Really touching ❤️❤️ great actors 👏
Love how Jamie gets angry, the character played by Sam really is very convincing, the accent, way of behaving, the way of thinking of that century Talented actor ❤️❤️
I have a huge problem with this show!! I love it so much, because in scenes like this one, I can not take anyone's side!! For me, both Claire and Jamie have right!! Always. Claire wasn't right here. If fate wanted Frank to be born, he would've been born anyway. Plus, as it turned out, Frank was not even Jack Randall's descendant.
The video should contain also the part where Claire tries to touch Jamie and he says "Do not touch me." So moving - all this scene, so great piece of art from both of actors, so emotional. Hat off to Sam and Cait ❤️❤️❤️👍
She goes to this extent to save Frank and yet people think she doesn't love Frank?? She even lost a baby trying to save Frank. If that's not love, I don't know what is.
She loved him that much and yet she didn't care about letting him suffer wondering about her sudden disappearance during their vacation ( i mean, all her things in their room, the car alone in the middle of a road..., I would think the worst options) so she could be happy with jamie.
@@nessyness5447 tbf she didn't know how the time travel thing worked. Like she wouldn't know if the stones would have taken her back to the moment she left or not
I hate when Claire makes Jamie do things that goes against his ethics. Face it without Claire coming to Wentworth, Jamie wouldn't have had to give himself to Randall.
Seems a weird lapse in logic for me that Jamie wouldn't realize their entire life together would be erased in Frank didn't exist. She was only in Scotland BECAUSE of Frank. Surely asking to delay a man's life by a year is a small price to pay when it means losing Claire and everything they've done together? I know it's harsh and unfair, but I thought they'd at least MENTION this possibility.
But on the other hand poor Jamie was nearly killed by BJR and is still in pain, depression, sexual crisis and constant nightmares - The chance of taking revenge would be a great satisfaction and balm to his soul.
But did she tell him that she wouldn't be in his time without Frank? Even if so she could've said it again now. It sounds like it's about Frank. Like she loves him.
@@Alinor24there are many things unspoken about this situation, maybe there are more answers in the book. I don’t think she loved Frank like that at this point, here. sure, she cared for him still and felt guilty, aware that she had left him unanswered. she wanted him to live, he’s part of her past/future, thanks to him she knew a lot of historical stuff that helped her survive too. she told master Raymond she cared for her friend’s fate, but didn’t mean to find out if they would meet again etc. I just hate how she handled telling Jamie all this and what happened then with Faith. from the first days of her pregnancy she had to go through the unimaginable stress, but the duel was the culmination point of everything that had led to it.
She asked something impossible. Sure she never thought one second, that Jonathan W. Randall might not be Frank's REAL ancestor. Jamie accepte her demande because hé loves her. What better sign of true love?
She had no way to know it firstly And that's not impossible, if he killed him there, he would have never met Claire It's just really hard that he has to wait for his revenge but well...
How is it that no one talks about poor Fergus? If Jamie had taken Randall's life at the time, Fergus would not have been hurt a little later on. But it's a shame Claire wouldn't have known at the time that Frank wasn't actually...
If Jamie never took Fergus into his family, Fergus would not have been in that room with Black Jack Randall, Jamie would not have challenged BJR to a duel and Claire would not have lost her baby. It's a domino theory

@M it's different here. She didn't know black jack randall wasn't frank direct ancestor........if there is no frank, there's no claire and jamie, since he is the reason they travelled to scotland in the first place.
Keeping score and demanding the impossible from Jamie is a true low point in Claire's behaviour. How selfish of her to choose Jamie and yet bargain for Frank. Notice how Jamie didn't contradict her when she said the whole Faith incident wasn't even BJR's fault bit her own..he quickly forgave her.. meaning she is responsible....
