Omgosh !! Absolutely love Sandy Duncan!! She could do another sitcom now, with her wit and timing. Would love for her to do a movie role. All kinds of appreciation for this Lady!!
Oh Sandy! You were such a big part of my life as a little girl growing up in the 70s, you were everywhere! Thank you for all your talent and positive energy that you bring to every performance 💕
So happy to hear Sandy Duncan is doing so well! She was such a big part of my childhood growing up in the 70s'! Beautiful, talented and wholesome ... she brought such cheer to our generation. Love, love her bigger than life persona. Thanks CBS for letting us have a peak into the life of one of my all time favorite actresses. 😍
Omgosh! Love Sandy Duncan! She’s such a bubbly beautiful woman. I never knew she was born and raised in Texas. I too am a born and raised Texas gal, from Tyler. I love this interview and happy to know she’s still with us. Congratulations to Sandy and her hubby for the 40+ years of marriage.
Who doesn’t love Sandy Duncan! She looks great & still lots of energy…why don’t you, Sandy…come back to us with…I don’t know something that this new generation could relate to. Please consider it.
I absolutely remember Sandy Duncan, didn’t see Peter Pan, but remember Funny Face, and the commercials she did, long time ago…….it’s great to see her now!
Sandy was just amazing as Peter Pan. The best one, with all due respect to Mary Martin and Cathy Rigby. A triple threat: an actress, singer, and dancer. Very talented lady and I’m happy to see her doing well.
Around 1975, I was the morning news anchor doing the local news cut-ins on NBC affiliate WESH in Orlando, Florida. I was a little bit of a Kansas City Star because of doing those 7:25 and 8:25 local news cut-in's during The Today Show. Because of that, an Orlando radio station had a Sandy Duncan look-alike contest and the prize was being taken to a nice dinner by me! A winner was announced and I was getting ready to go on the date when my pregnant wife's water broke! I had to call a friend to sub for me so I could be with my wife while she was giving birth. In those days, I was not allowed in the delivery room, though. Years later I saw Sandy in a local production here in Dallas, Texas but could not find the opportunity to meet her to tell her how we sort of crossed paths.
I remember the first time I saw her in an ad, I told my wife, that she will be a big star. So glad to see that beautiful smile again. Made this holiday, so much better!!!
A hometown celebrity. I grew up in east Texas, specifically Tyler where she lived from a little girl. Sandy's biggest celebrity besides Earl Campbell and maybe Patrick Mahomes. Yay Sandy Duncan!
I have always considered Sandy to be highly underrated as a singer. Her voice may not have been conventionally beautiful, but her singing had a great deal of character to it. After all, Sandy was trained as a musical theatre performer, and in musical theatre, character of voice is often more important than sheer beauty of tone.
An amazing performance that seems to get overlooked is Sandy's appearance on Law & Order, 1995, as Shelley Kates, a brilliant defense attorney in the episode 'Paranoia'. She gave Jack McCoy a run for his money, so to speak - very memorable.
What a treat! What a doll! So glad she found a good husband. Hard to come by! She made me laugh too! The best to you Sandy! You were ALWAYS a pleasure.........!......... "What strings?.........! 💖😆💖
Except as a homeless person who has traveled about the country a bit, I can tell you there are a lot of libraries in America that are downright hostile to homeless people (I'm looking at you, Pheonix, AZ). It's ridiculous that you are trying to get on your feet and you are not permitted to look at the newspapers.
Old movie of a dance recital in Tyler, Texas where my sister took lessons in the early 1960's. Sandy appears in a couple of places (at least I think it's her). Enjoy. ua-cam.com/video/XFxOi01wUVc/v-deo.html
I choose to think of Sandy as being a good person, but some terrible things happened to her, and I wish I could have been older to have prevented it and alot of other things.

Why has nobody created a new show for her? She’s an amazing talent!

I was born in Tyler. Had family there until my adulthood, I’m 70. I still have family in surrounding areas; Mineola, White House, etc.
She looks great 👌
I always remember her from a Wheat Thins Commercial.
Lovely brave lady
SHE LOOKS VERY WELL AND HAPPY TO ME ❤AMEN.WE LOVE YOU SANDY❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Always loved her, she was a cutie.
Saw Sandy in "Peter Pan" at the Pantages Theater Hollywood Blvd, 1978 or 1979. Great show. .Singer/Actor. extraordinaire

Great interview
I even had my hair cut like hers🥰
Libraries LIVE!
She was good in The Cat from Outer Space in 1978.
She was in Rock-A-Doodle, The Hogan Family, and Barney and The Backyard Gang.
Omg its vixey! ❤

So glad she found a good husband. Hard to come by!
She made me laugh too!
The best to you Sandy!
You were ALWAYS a pleasure.........!.........
"What strings?.........! 💖😆💖
Love her!!
She was a total joy in Peter Pan, and I have the T Shirt from the Broadway run that I wear on special occasions.
Saw Sandy Duncan performing at Radio City in 83. Very cool!
A national treasure.
Wow ! In 2014 she still looked grate for her age !
Wonderful interview!
SANDY DUNCAN!!!!
I did hear it was a glass eye. Now I know it's not. Looking great Sandy.
That's what I heard to and I think most people thought she had a glass eye like she insinuated
She looks cute.
Nice high kicks from both of you!
Loved her in Scooby-Doo and The Hogan Family
She doesn't look bad for her age at all.
Quintessential 💯🇺🇸♥️🌎🌍🌏
Hashtag of her name is misspelled. FYI. Cannot watch at moment will soon tho!
Very cool! 😂
Great subject matters but the format is annoying. Quit jumping all around. Why? What's the purpose? Intermingling 2 topic stimulation?
I though she had an artificial eye. It sure doesn't look like it if I'm not confused again! She looks great! 😂 ❤
Sandy Duncan=Wheat Thins.
And the point is...?
Splitting 3 stories in betwixt each other...NAH
I’m with her on Triscuits rather than Wheat Thins.
She does not look her age.
This is a repeat. And, about libraries: noisy ones are NOT a positive thing. They should not be community centers. Which is what they've become.
Totally agree! I don’t like visiting my local library because of this reason.

I LOVE ❤ HER SHE IS SO CUTE AND SEXY IN HER OWN WAY ❤❤❤❤❤❤😅
It’s Vixey🦊 & Peepers🐭
What’s with the duo?
There’s a reason why women wear the harness...
Mo Rocco = nails on a chalkboard
The closed captioning on this sucks.
Don’t even know if she has the Limoges box?
Barney and the Backyard gang
I choose to think of Sandy as being a good person, but some terrible things happened to her, and I wish I could have been older to have prevented it and alot of other things.
How could you have helped? What terrible things?
Can anyone sat Why they hired a female for the role of peter pan?
Peter Pan is supposed to stay around 12 years old. Mary Martin (Larry Hagman's mother) played him in the 1950s.
He's the boy who couldn't go up.
I feel that I have heard so many times that sandy Duncan has a glass eye. To think, it was all a myth…..
Wow…incompetent doctors
Ahhh the racism
Such a slappable face throughout the decades.
Didnt she lose an eye
So you didn't bother to watch the video? It explained, in detail, what happened. You just start asking questions?
@@bentnickel7487 no bent ssshole I didn't watch the whole interview
No didn't you watch it ? She Lost one of her 👃 nostrils was such a tragedy !
