Note: a few of the numbers here are inaccurate or missing
Rather than explaining how to execute certain combos, this video covers the concepts behind comboing and tips on how to maximize combo damage. What works for one person may not work for another, so it's up to each player to discover his or her own balance of difficulty, effectiveness, and style.
This tutorial is also my 3000 subscribers special, but it looks like I'm already 250 subscribers late. To compensate for my tardiness, I'll be uploading my in-game PvP BGMs for everyone to download. Keep an eye out for that in the next couple of days!

Agreed. Pre-planned combos are great for people just getting into the basics of comboing, but after a few months everything becomes spontaneous intuition and estimation

Even I didn't know any of the KD numbers. I usually just do combos till they die. I just having feelings when their about to KD. Since my WS is already KD calculated. I'll work on Ga combos Thanks Kirby!

I'll add an annotation when that comes to NA/EU servers. I believe ledge resets still work though.
@ glince estimate using the chart on elwiki; for example, I estimated CN's zxx is 3 Kd b/c zx is one. I'm not sure vbut you have to test it out to see

Remember when style mattered
Not too sure about that one, but I know in those cases the KD will gradually deplete back to 0 over time. That means the later you catch them again, the closer their KD will be to 0

I was thinking though, since it has multiple, fast hits in the air, that it COULD be used to reset the knockdown counter, like with Deadly Chaser's ZZXX combo, doing the same thing.

I'm not TOO sure of this, but I think his sword thrower combo (>>XXX) Could reset on the second X, but like I said earlier, I don't know for sure.

Hey Mr.Deadly combo can you make the opponent doesn't fall on the ground while finishing the health bar ?
I'm pretty sure Arch Enemy doesn't require its note to reset KD if used right on the limit, I have a friend who tested this on ES... unless they changed it or something.
CN's XXZ~Z (more specifically, the Z~Z part) can reset, too. Tested and confirmed.
Also, what's this about KD resets not working after the ST revamp?

Weeeeeeeeh. I'm trying to do the same for Rena except the fact that I have no clue how to .... I just put combo's together and remember them and that's it! The second X is a launch reset, no a KD reset.

So I assume you can use Explosion Trap for the multi-hit KD reset?
I don't believe roll counts as an actual stun
It has to be able to stun like impact hammer ( DW) or similar to Earth break.
Multi hit skills are also an option -- I believe this includes special actives too such as Sword Blasting.
If the enemy forces a knock down by mana breaking, does that reset the kd counter? Or does the kd counter reset only from being attacked.
I still don't know how would you know the KD value of every combo, active skill and special active skill. Where is that information?

Multi Hit reset doesn't seem to work on laggers.. some can even mana break from archenemy -.-

This is an extremely helpful tutorial for people trying to get into PvP seriously. But for me all the math is a bit too much to think about and plan out mid game so imma just stick to pulling stuff out of my ass. Hell sometimes I do 90% Combos by doing that and im not even over geared and now I know why! and how to do it more often.
It's funny how I figured this out after S3 happened. :I Played S2, had no confidence in my abilities.... Then figured it out just as the patch for S3 happened in Els PH :I

1. Add's combos can easily cause KD to overload and give them opponents a opening. Especially that ZZZ

What how long does it take to reset the kd after a dropped/unfinished combo? like when they mana break and you get them in a combo quickly after they rise and they get knocked down again.

X drop only resets in dungeons, but in PvP it has 0 KD, so it's just free damage.

Where do you find an application that puts those kd and launch counters on your screen? Mind sharing it with me? I would like to experiment with my combos but i have no clue how to measure KD because i cant see it.

Wind can be use for people with distance lags
Mostly elboy class with kick can possibly have a long combo with wind even without xdrop or just with distance lag the unable you to perform xdrop no matter how hard or how perfect you perform your xdrop.

Stun doesnt reset anymore multi hit reset dont work anymore and all x drops reset kd, yeah not anymore now
z manafi multi hit resets still work, GA and WS both are able to reset this way o . o
