On the 4th level the roots on the ground that break as you run through them will often give you obolites ONLY if you use your blade to break them. Running through them will not give you anything
Hollowseeker with serrated projectiles is scary. Just yesterday though I unlocked the full-auto upgrade for the rocket launcher... it's absolutely insane. If you can stick Overloads (which isn't hard) with this weapon, it turns you into a crazy DPS machine. It melts Titanops' health bar like butter on a frying pan. As for artifacts, I think the Blade Balancer is a must. It unlocks too many bonus items and rooms along the way to just pass up. There's also one that upgrades max integrity on each malfunction gained or fixed which is crazy. Execution Bolts, which shoots 2 lightning bolts on each melee kill, is one of my faves too, and also the one that shoots 2 bolts on each successful Overload (which is insanely good against the octopus-monster hordes in the last biome)
I found it very useful to spend some Aether for the reconstructors in each level. They will give you a second attempt if you die with your current loadout and full health. Also good to heal up before you head to the next biome by simply dying once. Not too expensive as well.
To anyone late to the game: Bosses do reset after reconstruction if you don't kill them. Also, future biome re-constructors erase old ones. So if you think activating each one on each biome will give you multiple chances, wrong.
Great Tipps. I have also one. Sometimes it is great to bring a door between you and a strong enemy. When it cant pass the door and wait in front of it, you can wait at the other side save to fill your alternate firemode, sneak slowly to the door to open it, fire and retreat to close the door again. But in my Opinion the best one ist to make Ether-farm-runs once in a while to take the pressure out of you. This was my personal turningpoint from frustation to enjoy. You become better by time and training and the fear of dying and losing progress vanished :)
You forgot the greatest tip: suspend cycle before boss fight -> exit game -> upload to cloud -> go back to playing. If you die, just download your cloud save and keep playing. no need to restart a cycle from the beginning.
Dude! I did this on Bloodborne and forgot about it. I just got this game on sale, and made it to biome 6 and was worried I was gonna end up back at 3!!! Just saw your comment. Now I got a checkpoint ❤
@@DingbatToast Nice! Enjoy the game without stressing bro. Once you git gud try it the legit way. The trick boosted my confidence enough to beat it legit.
@Swaggaccino yea man, was legit 'till b6... now I'm save scumming my ass off 🤣😄🍻 ... Edit: i think i was over levelled. Last boss was pretty easy compared to the squid-monsters! Great game. Will do a couple more playthroughs to get the whole story 👌👊
It's is a such great game. At beginning the difficulty is a punch in the face, but as soon you get used to gameplay, mechanics and what weapons is more adequated in each situation this game gots much easier. The effort is rewarding.
This is so facts. I beat every boss on my first attempt except for the first boss. Once I got used to the mechanics and abilities, this game is not difficult. In fact I got through biomes 4-6 without dying once.
Just started playing. Got to the second biome boss on my first run. Then second run, made the mistake of going in to a yellow door and proceeded to get destroyed 😂
@@OldmanNix my friend and I played co-op for a total of probably 10 hours before we beat the first boss, and even then we barely beat it. So satisfying though lol
I personally like the Rotgland. It's not a fast shooter but it is DOT weapon and insanely powerful! Fire a shot then keep it moving. Enemies health gets destroyed without having to be in the line of fire and it kills enemies before more spawn. It is definitely more challenging when facing lots of flying enemies but you can pretty much 1 shot all of them if your Rotgland has high proficiency. A sneaky trick that I do with DOT weapons is walking up to a door and shooting enemies in the next room then walking back to the previous room and allowing the door to close. This may take a bit longer but its literally a life saver as 95% of enemies and projectiles can't pass through the door (although some can) - You can also do this with the Electropylon.
My best weapon is the Rotgland Lobber - it deals cumulative damage per hit, allowing one to shoot and duck away. Higher level Lobbers have been essentially one-hit kills for most enemies. The only downside is bosses - the DPS is too low. For those I switch over to Hollowseeker if possible.
@@monoespacial Beat him last night, and finally gained access to the second area! The health and proficiency tips were probably the biggest factors. Another one that I've found to be helpful from one of this video's comments is to turn on always sprint. Really gives you one less thing to worry about making it easier to focus on combat. Thanks for your tips!
@@GLegend360 Very good! I actually thought about including the "always sprint" tip, but on some biomes it leads to some accidental falls when platforming. At least it did for me so I ended up reverting the setting.
@@monoespacial Yeah I could see that, my first time with it on I messed up some jumps, but I've gotten used to it now. Everyone's got a diff play style. But thanks for this vid man, can't wait to beat these cycles.
Electropylon driver is by far better than the hollowseeker for killing bosses and minibosses. I do like the hollowseeker for biome 6 because it's better for killing the squids that torpedo you, but I'll always go back and pick up my driver for the boss fight. Pylons are like a cheat code in this game. Land a couple hits and then just run the hell away. Just make sure you get back before they die so you can collect the obolites.
Maybe it has to do with playstyle. I find using the Electropylon to be incredibly boring and also, harder in later stages when there's not as many walls to shoot them at.
I finally beat Biome 3 after 8 months and 48 hours. and then in days I completed it (bad ending) and now I'm blitzing it everytime. It's like learning Rubik's Cube.
This game really makes you it's bitch in the last biome. I thought the game was relatively easy up until that point, but once the last biome comes? Ooooooff, have fun.
Wow, I have seen a lot of tips videos for Returnal, this is the first mentioning alternatives in the settings...very cool, I will give that ones a try. Thank you :)
Super late to the party, but you do more damage if you're shooting the enemies crit spots (tougher, larger ones), usually the head, but it'll light up red and you melt their health. Shortens alot of encounters. The game is super fun, like metroid on speed lol.
i can't even get through the first biome and get beat by the little bosses frequently. i can't see that i will be committed enough to keep trying to beat bosses on other levels. So glad i didn't buy the game as it was part of the PS plus catalogue. I watched all the tips and tricks but not helping much. Glad so many of you mastered this, have fun!
I just finished demon souls and thought let's play Returnal as it will be fun and will get to relax a little after playing a game like demon souls. But this is even more brutal, I am stuck on 1st stage for like 1 week now.😅
I honestly think some people are trying to rush through the biomes, that’s why they aren’t getting far enough. Taking my time in each one allowed me to beat the game within 5 days.
thanks! I played this when it first came out and made it partly through the 3rd biome before quitting the game. My reflexes are not what they used to be. I've picked it back up recently, so this will help!
I have played through and beat the game twice, these are great tips! Nice video... never even considered having the artifact gives healing when killing enemies, thats a great idea 👌

Just beat the second boss without dying ounce. I been exploring everything too and im not even understanding completely what some items are even used for...lol. The best advice i can give is always be at range from enemies, take cover behind pilars but on bosses always be on the move and be ready for that teleport attack that takes a shit ton of damage off. Get a gun the has damage bonus and quick fire and you should be fine.
Thankyou for making this video! And the people that commented their tips too! If worked wonders. I dunno if I got lucky but I made it all the way through to the end of the 3rd biome and died at the boss as I was unprepared and didn't know I was walking into a boss fight at the time 🤣 but thankyou guys!
After I try alot dash- r1. I suggest dash to L1 , melee to R1 . It's easy to use DMJ (dash melee jump) = dash jump( super fast move). and when you use melee it easy to turn camera to enemies.
One thing to add about biome 4: shoot the roots! For some reason it drops more obolites than meleeing or running over them, and they grow back! I've had runs where I had over 1000 obolites when I left the level, even after buying most of the upgrades. Excellent, excellent video. I learned most of it thanks to Reddit and trial and error myself, but you do a fantastic job putting them all together. I even learned a few great tricks from it and I'm close to platinuming it.
Good guide. First game i bought for my PS5. Its very hard but the game play and combat is very fun. It reminds me of Prometheus the alien movie. Id like to see this game come to PC, I think shooters are much easier to play on mouse and keyboard.
11:00 grappling hook is key for sure, but don't view them as an insta-invincibility. That water biome Typhonops has an ability to track you on your grapples. I've been swiped more than once at the end of a grapple swing.
The aiming size of the on screen square doesn't change accuracy whatsoever. If anything, when you make it bigger you'll start noticing you're now missing more shots than normally because the trajectory of whatever you're firing will still solely revolve around the very center of wherever you aim.
@@Potijelli not true, this was actually tested and actually was a bigger hindrance than I first stated. With it bigger it now fucks with the auto aim nomatter the strength and makes hit even harder for specific targeting when multiple enemy's are within the cross, it's almost like the auto aim will now fight you from aiming at what you really want to target.... I tested this after seeing that video and it did feel like a huge handicap and felt horrible.
9:56 I don’t understand what you mean. I have only beaten the first two bosses. I don’t care about spoilers. Spoil away lol. If i die while fighting the third boss, will i be able to get back to the beginning of biom 3, (not sure if it is called biom 3; the biom after the second boss,) without having to face boss’s 1 and 2 again?? Thanks. And thanks for the video!!
Get Adrenaline Leech. It is the most overpowered artifact in my opinion. Combine it with artifacts/parasites that boost adrenaline and it is playing the game on easy. Every thing heals and if you can maintain at least adrenaline 1 you get healed 5% of your damage. It won't help on bosses cause likely you will drop adrenaline levels there but everywhere else is magic. Don't be scared of malfunctions, especially in early biomes. Grab available Malignant resin and Large Resin when you can. Leave up chests if you are happy with the gun you have for easier malfunction requirements and if you get a bad malfunctions it can be cleared quickly.
I started this game yesterday, and played for about 4 hours. I have found the sword, the upgrade that allows alt fire, and the one for fast travel. Other than that, I don't think I'm making any progress. I can't find any ether. I can't even find the first boss. No weapon traits are unlocking. Am I doing something wrong?
I really like this game as a big Metroid fan but I never finished it and need to go back! I last died on the 5th biome and then moved on to Mass Effect. Now I'm not sure I remember how to play?!
Man I'm struggling so much with this game! Still haven't beat Phrike! Or at times I'll have a good run get to an area, get overwhelmed and die losing everything! Then others it'll take me right to Phrike with nothing! The best I got was getting past his first life bar! Toughest game I played in a long time!
Blessed to have a level 28 hollowseeker, portal beam II, serrated projectiles, oscillator & adrenaline boost. that last Malformed mini-boss across the gap in last biome almost got me. Lol! Afterwards was a breeze tho. That hollowseeker clears out a room quickly with certain attributes
Thanks! I'm covering Hell Let Loose a lot right now but will cover Horizon when that comes out and other playstation games. Hopefully you like being subbed.
I’m still on level 1. Every time I start a run, now, it states I have to kill somebody but I always end up dying. I will try the collecting the ovulates? And convert to either? Till I get to 25. Just so annoying when I bloody keep dying. I so badly want to get past level 1 because I’m getting bored of the environment.
I get as far as the mini boss at biome 6. I've used hollowseeker, the pylo driver or idk how to spell it, and about to try the carbine with leeching rounds
@@z3german If you can, farm the squid with the shield that keeps spawning the little squids. This will get you to proficiency 30 which absolutely melts enemies. I beat Ophion twice, with the second one melting him in a minute. Edit: I used Hollowseeker with portal beam for both. Just let the beam do damage while you dodge the projectiles. My first time beating Ophion, my beam literally did 75% of the work and did more damage than my regular bullets.
Stuck in Fractured Wastes. It's just such a long stretch of total mayhem. It's difficult to sustain a laser-like focus for such a long time. Not to mention the luck required. I admire this game a lot but it's so damn long and, with literally one single checkpoint in the entire game, that doesn't really jive with the rougelike gameplay.
There are people out there who keep showong off stating this is easy, but as a matter of fact independently by skill level this is a nightmare of a game, finished it in 20 hours with 25 deaths of which at least 70% caused by the world and the mobs, o could make a list of why this game takes the crown of difficulty... always changing world, unexpected spawns and mob damage, no saves, no permanent stats, total reset on death, fast pace which gives little time to think, the NEED to die in order to learn the hars way the best strategy, parasite sistem which is a gamble as benefficial effects can sometimes be countered by disastrous negativ effects which need to make you think twice, over all even for those runing again the game after it finished it will still be challenging and frustrating.

Remember there are multiple ways to progress in the game in each run. Collecting ether. Using a weapon you like so you unlock more perks for it. Learning event attack patterns. The mindset of "I NEED to beat this boss" will make your stressed which means you won't be playing as best as you can.
I couldn't get over no saving, and having to complete biomes again when I died. I don't have much time anyways for gaming, so not being able to save and starting at the beginning of biome 1 everytime was a deal breaker.

Doing a full run will give you better chances of upgrading your guns and just getting better items overall. However, if you have a good amount of ether you can offset that by cleansing and opening lots of chests. It's been a while since I played but it also helps if you can still visit the shops at the end of the level depending on the path you take.

Yes thanks. May do that. I guess it's not a waste of £70 as ultimately I love gaming. Just need to get good I guess. Lol though I'm too old to get good I think. Many thanks for reply and posting up vid.
Here's a few tips from my many clears of Returnal (29 deaths and 70hours): -Play defensively; never stay in one spot and fight more than 2 enemies. Kill 1 and sprint away or make them come to you so you have all enemies within view. Avoiding damage and picking up any green health will increase your integrity/hp way faster. Maxes at 300% -Sprinting is a must; your speed is your best tool to fights. Relocate and glance your mini map. If there's red behind your arrow, run and relocate. Dashing through projectiles might be easier than left/right/back to avoid damage. Use cover/corners to block enemy projectiles. While zipping/grappling you are immune to damage. I like to fight tougher enemies while keeping a zip point in sight for easy escapes. Plus you can simply run out of a room unless it is locked. -Collect Obolites; don't forget to grab the obs after killing enemies. Killing enemies too far will make them despawn faster. -Pick priority targets; turrets are 1 hit kills with melee (get them to raise your adrenaline easily). Clear the weaker enemies next and keep the tougher ones in your peripheral or mind. -Disrupt enemies; you can shoot enemies even once, who are prepping for an attack (glowing orange) to reset them and some enemies will be staggered by 1 melee hit for free damage after. -Avoid malignant items; personal preference but I tend to avoid them unless I have a nullification item or parasite that prevents it. It's just not worth with the amount of time you have in the run. Getting a bad malfunction can snowball and become unrecoverable. -Item/parasite/artifact combos: many can feed off each other. Example repair enhancer + small vial = way bigger heal. Artifact damage leech with adrenaline will be a must buy. Experiment. -Don't think of an incomplete run as bad but more of experience. Like now you know what attacks each enemy has and how to avoid. Farming ether, and weapon perks are permanent, making the next run easier. Hopefully it helps, Returnal is a great game and very manageable if you keep calm. Panicking will result in a swift restart.
It’s been 10 years and I’m still on the first level , I love returnal

There was no suspend cycle when I made this video, but thanks for the tip!!
@@monoespacial Ah ok. I love the game but yeah the difficulty is def not easy. Your guide helps a ton thou.
@Swaggaccino yea man, was legit 'till b6... now I'm save scumming my ass off 🤣😄🍻
...
Really? I'm 10 hrs in and only faced the 1st boss 3x and got owned. This "rewarding" is just legend at this point.
@@OldmanNix my friend and I played co-op for a total of probably 10 hours before we beat the first boss, and even then we barely beat it. So satisfying though lol
@@OldmanNix I beat all the bosses now, just keep at it.
What’s DOT?
@@markborkowski965 Damage Over Time.
Rotgland is great but it's lacking in range and speed. Hollowseeker with sharpnel it's a superior choice.
@@alexcosta2614 I've actually changed my weapon of choice since this post. Pyroshell Caster with seeking flares is super OP
@@Cosmic_Kicks I haven't made through the third stage, yet. Will seek that out.
This game is awesome but made me search for tips.
This video was perfect
Been struggling to beat Phrike, going to use these tips to get me an extra advantage by the time I face him.
Let me know if you beat him!
Picked up this game for the first time in months and beat a boss on my first try thanks to this !
That's awesome!
I was stuck on Phrike when I started playing, then I beat him, same with Ixion, you just have to upgrade health and go in with astronaut and silphium
I can report: It helps a lot! ❤
Thanks a lot for this. I've been really struggling with Returnal and these tips are great.
But this is even more brutal, I am stuck on 1st stage for like 1 week now.😅
Quake 2 music on background is cool : )
I honestly think some people are trying to rush through the biomes, that’s why they aren’t getting far enough. Taking my time in each one allowed me to beat the game within 5 days.
Plat the game is easy, the platinum is 5x harder
I try that n I feel like I just get killed
Thanks, glad you enjoyed them!
@@monoespacial I did, its an awesome game! I can't put it down, even though I have not beat it a couple times. I feel like once you get good at it, you just want to keep going through the runs😎
Beat it twice??i cant even get to axiom😑😑
@@Swaggmire215 You just have to keep playing and practicing, defense is the name of the game in returnal. Stay alive above all else, and improve that health bar 👌 You'll get it
@@MichaelBordenaro yea its sucks ass puttin in 4 hours and a mistake its all wasted but its also addictive. I love this game tho lol
I'm curious how many of u play claw? Its a game changer being able to dash, jump, melee, grapple while keeping ur thumb on right stick at all times. I learned it for fortnite and never looked back since
And relax.....once you start caring less (and believing best permanent upgrade is your own skill) then you start enjoying it more...and doing better
Returnal is GOTY for me.
Finally!! Biom 3 baby!! After beating the second boss I felt like a gaming god!!
Thank you - I will test these out tonight. I just got it on PC
After I try alot dash- r1. I suggest dash to L1 , melee to R1 . It's easy to use DMJ (dash melee jump) = dash jump( super fast move).
and when you use melee it easy to turn camera to enemies.
Not a bad suggestion! I'll try it out. What did you think of the tips I gave?
@@monoespacial Great tips! Everyone should know this. 👍👍👍
@@shintake3521 thanks dude! Hopefully the video gets more views 😅
now when I try to remap it removes the adaptive trigger option. It didn't do that before.
First thing that came to mind was this has strong prometheus vibes
great tips, these really help !
11:00 grappling hook is key for sure, but don't view them as an insta-invincibility. That water biome Typhonops has an ability to track you on your grapples. I've been swiped more than once at the end of a grapple swing.
I expect not to have completed it by the launch of the PS6
i watched your video and it only took me 2 days to get past the first boss now im at the second biome and getting stronger lol thx
The aiming size of the on screen square doesn't change accuracy whatsoever. If anything, when you make it bigger you'll start noticing you're now missing more shots than normally because the trajectory of whatever you're firing will still solely revolve around the very center of wherever you aim.
with aim assit set to high and the crosshair bigger it allows the aim assit to stick to the target sooner than with the smaller crosshair
Helps visually to time overloads
Very helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful!

I don’t understand what you mean.
Was stuck at the Ixion boss(boss 2) for a long time. Watch this vid and managed to beat it the same day. Thanks! :)
Which mass efffect?
Gameplay is brilliant but getting sent back all the way to the beginning is just annoying and repetitive. See if your tips help
Let me know if they do!
Also you can sleep in the ship 1 times per cycle to restore health
Very good video bro, thank you.

Thanks! I'm covering Hell Let Loose a lot right now but will cover Horizon when that comes out and other playstation games. Hopefully you like being subbed.
@@monoespacial Looking forward to it!
Dash L1. Blade R1.
Massive difference.
I’m still on level 1. Every time I start a run, now, it states I have to kill somebody but I always end up dying. I will try the collecting the ovulates? And convert to either? Till I get to 25. Just so annoying when I bloody keep dying. I so badly want to get past level 1 because I’m getting bored of the environment.
does it all sound compilicated just for a shooter or this shooter is that complicated?
the worst malfunctions you should look for is not damage fall, but acid pools and counter on hit
I get as far as the mini boss at biome 6. I've used hollowseeker, the pylo driver or idk how to spell it, and about to try the carbine with leeching rounds
Stuck here too 😭
@@z3german If you can, farm the squid with the shield that keeps spawning the little squids.

I started this game last night and felt so overwhelmed 🤣 only got to the second boss. It’s a rough one for sure.

I don't have the option to change the buttons for some reason 😒, does anyone know why??
I’m struggling to get past the 3rd boss. The RNG of weapon drops is not working in my favor, it keeps giving me close range guns.
I can't pass first one . I'm getting depressed and contemplating life haha

I recommend that you have the tachomyte carbine when you go against it. It wasn’t even a high level weapon nor was highly op
And just pray and hope for the best haha. But with a bit of luck and skill
Remember there are multiple ways to progress in the game in each run. Collecting ether. Using a weapon you like so you unlock more perks for it. Learning event attack patterns.
The mindset of "I NEED to beat this boss" will make your stressed which means you won't be playing as best as you can.
Its bin week, it i die fast wit no upgrade,
boss is OP With rare health search.
plz tell im wrong
😕😖
how do you play mouse and keyboard on ps5 in returnal ???????
Do you have to get past biome 3 to unlock the electronic pile-driver weapon I'm stuck on biome 3 and not came across this weapon once
I couldn't get over no saving, and having to complete biomes again when I died. I don't have much time anyways for gaming, so not being able to save and starting at the beginning of biome 1 everytime was a deal breaker.
Why isn't the katana upgrade permanent? I have "completed" a stage without means of breaking yellow force fields
This game is 100% GOTY worthy, but difficulty is most likely what prevented it from being nominated. However, I believe this game will become a timeless classic that will surpass just one year of noteworthiness
This was helpful, thanks.
I’m late they just put the game on sale. I just beat the game for the first time, not the final end but the first time at the citadel. I didn’t find the game to be all that hard tho I did have some amazing power ups and parasites for that run.
I dont mind the loop gameplay but at least i want to keep the weapon i had when starting over.
1 problem I have after reaching biome 4 is that its a lot more dangerous trying to collecting the orbs things after killing enemies
Excellent tips mate thanks. This game is hard. I mean dark souls has a baby with Hades and the result is this 3rd person shooter. I feel just like when I started playing souls 10 years ago: “
Am I dumb or really bad or this game is just really fucking tough?”
They must’ve nerfed adrenaline leech cause I got it the other day and it was only 2% per adrenaline level
Isnt crosshair size just cosmetic and doesn't help with aim?
Someone else commented the same thing. I thought that wasn't the case. Maybe it is, so I guess just use whatever crosshair size is more comfortable.
I'm a big supporter of L1 jump / R1 dash for maximum right stick aim mobility
Also give no aim assist a try- even low aim assist to me felt like it "snapped" to enemies too often. I promise it doesn't take that long to get used to and you'll feel like a super Selene warrior 😄
I've been playing for hours and I suck so bad that I haven't even gotten the melee weapon yet. I don't even know where it is haha. Anyone have any help?
I can’t even get the grappling hook. The Crimson Wastes are kicking my ass
As far as the weapons go, the bonus damage levels are all you need to focus on.
How did you do that grapple?
Thanks for the tips I will try this tomorrow I can't get passed the first level and this is having played 12hrs today lol I did manage once to kill the first boss 2 times on the third time he gets max health I end up dead again lol
12 HOURS?!I thought that I had it rough but I have been playing for three hours🤯🤯🤯😭😭😭
@@rikupikkarainen2108 yeah at first it was brutal but since then I've done all biomes in less then 4 hrs with breaks. I was also new to playstation and had to get used to the controller. I'm hoping they do more content haven't played a 3 months and got every trophy so for now I've moved on.
A question. if i died in Biome 3 for example, and i started over, do you recommend rushing back to B3 or farm B1 and 2 first?
Doing a full run will give you better chances of upgrading your guns and just getting better items overall. However, if you have a good amount of ether you can offset that by cleansing and opening lots of chests. It's been a while since I played but it also helps if you can still visit the shops at the end of the level depending on the path you take.
What a game. They should really communicate better that this game is for masochists only. Save a lot of people having to pay 70 bucks to find out and go out into the backyard and set fire to it whilst dancing and cackling manically.
Stuck on the third Biome, do you move straight to the latest Biome or do you work your way back?
From the 4th biome onwards you will only have to play 4 to 6.
@@monoespacial OK just gotta get there! ha. So if you are playing the 3rd Biome do you spend a lot of time in 1 & 2 or just head straight to Biome 3?
I'd say do Biome 1 almost entirely but fast. Then head to Biome 2 to get the item and calibrator, then go straight to biome 3. It doesn't take too long in Biome 2 to get to Biome 3 if you don't have to fight the boss.

I'm gutted I wasted my cash.
How far did you get?
I'm a lost cause. Love hard games,(dark souls /bloodborne/demon souls/division/nioh2 etc) but I like to farm and get better at a game, just from sheer time of playing. I'm not skillful enough at this. Just gutted I've spent £70. Maybe in the future an update may help me. Thanks though.
@@vincentthomas7124 that's too bad. I know some people are finding it difficult. Maybe you should look at some streamer to get an understanding of the actual flow of combat.

Yes thanks. May do that.
I guess it's not a waste of £70 as ultimately I love gaming. Just need to get good I guess. Lol though I'm too old to get good I think. Many thanks for reply and posting up vid.
Here's a few tips from my many clears of Returnal (29 deaths and 70hours):
-Play defensively; never stay in one spot and fight more than 2 enemies. Kill 1 and sprint away or make them come to you so you have all enemies within view. Avoiding damage and picking up any green health will increase your integrity/hp way faster. Maxes at 300%
-Sprinting is a must; your speed is your best tool to fights.
