I've never played Eve, and may never, but I am enjoying your videos. I am only through episode 6, but I want to thank you very much for your time and effort.
I started playing 4 days back and I'm finding your channel so helpful! Thanks heaps for the time and effort you put into these videos. P.s Holla from South Australia!
Great content! I can say as a new player, would love to see some videos on - PvP tactics - Ship fitting theory behind different uses (PvP, mining, exploration etc.) - Mining basics and tactics - eve etiquette? Like general Does and Dont’s There is just so much to this game!
Really helpful. Surviving gate camps and similar encounters would be a really helpful episode. Maybe: a) How to prep in which situation; b) What are the warning signs for danger (e.g. typical ships for ganking); c) how to react (e. g. steps in burning back to the gate; collectng drones and starting to move out etc.).
Another big advantage of the radial menu is that, unlike the right-click menu, actions are refreshed in real-time. For example when you need to take a bridge or jump to a cyno, the "jump" action appears on the radial menu as soon as available. On the contrary, with the right click menu, you have to right-click the ship again for this option to appears.
Great video, well presented! For me the steepest learning curve has been just understanding and working the UI. And then customizing it to make it actually useful. For example moving the popup messages window is ESSENTIAL. Having it next to the controls, or maybe up by the overview, makes a lot more sense than in the middle of the screen, where I’m hardly ever looking, makes so much sense. It is hard enough running career missions as a n00b, having to do things with a mystery meat UI. Thank you!
Just discovered (well maybe rediscovered) your channel. Really enjoy your style and presentation. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your EVE content.
Going to play around with notifications!!! 12 years still learning... You can right click simulate fit on ships from assets and inventory and simulate... I find that more visually appealing than view contents... Not to mention view contents does not include ship if you want to do eve appraisal
Another nice tip is that you can stack different windows and navigate through the tabs that get created. You can then double-click the tab to minimize everything. I always have the most used stuff on a tab bar on the top of the screen (like assets, people & places, market, etc.)
Sure. - Open the windows you wish to stack (e.g. Market and People & Places) - Drag one window onto the title bar of the other one until the title bar gets lit up and let go - If both windows are stacked, you can minimize it by double-clicking on an empty space on the title bar - If you click a tab when it's minimized, it opens that window I also recorded a quick video to demonstrate that visually: ua-cam.com/video/rCwBMdOtAMg/v-deo.html (The cursor is a bit misplaced at the end, I clicked on the title bar to minimize, not below it) Hope that helps :)
hope the best for you man these videos I've been watching and rewatching them ever since a week and a half ago. they're so helpful and beginner-friendly
Been playing for 15 years, still learnt something new. Well done mate, top quality videos, like your laconic Aussie delivery. Immediate Sub and like. Looking forward to more.
I love the fact that I can actually understand what you are saying. Too many vids about Eve and the accents are so bad that the English is unrecognisable.
would it be faster to warp jump then crashing the gate and also can you fire at the enemy while crashing the gate or does that prevent you from jumping the gate?
This is great.... better then other vids I've been watching of other eve players .. with higher subs..... Amazing. I subbed to you thank you good content. 👍🏿
Great vid doods! Been playing many years and many moons ago I used to watch tutorial vids and your new ones here on this channel are some of the best Keep up the good work
Been playing for 10 years and STILL there is new stuff to learn TY sir, Fly Safe.
I've never played Eve, and may never, but I am enjoying your videos. I am only through episode 6, but I want to thank you very much for your time and effort.
That just means you beat the game.
Its free to try. Its really fun if you join a community and have some content. You gan Join Pandemic Horde they take literally day 1 players
If you’ve never played or never will why are you watching instructional videos?
@@BlueberryTrainwreck to see if it's worth attempting/investing in it.
7:30 One of the first things I didn't know! Outstanding!
17:38 Agreed. Like a toolbar on the top of the screen

You need a medal for all this hard work, these guides are beyond perfect
I've been playing Eve for all of about 5 days now. Your video has taught me quite a lot of helpful info. You've earned this sub :)

There is just so much to this game!
Yes, some nice juicy topics there. I’ll put them on the list.

Can you explain how you get them to be tabbed?
Sure.
- Open the windows you wish to stack (e.g. Market and People & Places)
- Drag one window onto the title bar of the other one until the title bar gets lit up and let go
- If both windows are stacked, you can minimize it by double-clicking on an empty space on the title bar

My man was most likely shooting at himself from an alt. Love it

Watching this a year later, as I just returned to New Eden. Subscribed of course.
I love the fact that I can actually understand what you are saying. Too many vids about Eve and the accents are so bad that the English is unrecognisable.
Like the style of your vids. Even for experienced players, there is some nuances to be learnt. Cheers mate! Fly safe o7
Well done. Subbed. Looking forward to more tips.

Great video, from a 6 year vet... I learned something
Dam sir your poping off with the subs 45 in 4 days

16:48 "Thanks Billy, you're an idiot" gold.
Learned some nice stuff from this, thanks!
wow learnt a lot of new things...thanks!!
Thanks again. More great content :)
Very helpful, thank you.
Super useful thx so much.
Great video
Learned a lot 👍
Nice video ! MERCI
That ship sure looks like the Drake Vulture from Star Cit.
25:00 We fly IKEA space ships?! :D
Respect some things i didnt know
Thank you for going over gate camps. it’s too sketchy when your in a fragile frigate
If you can get you're align time to under 2 seconds in a frigate then you gate campers will very rarely lock you
@@bigjoebob What's the key to getting align time to under 2 seconds?
Good videos man
Hay sir I’m tristan
Buy low sell high - I have trouble with that.
I stopped playing in 2012, just as well I'm retiring soon, as I'll have to relearn everything when I reactivate my account.
radial menu. how cute. *disables in settings*
So, I'm watching Bjorn Bee stream kills in a 10B Panther using the radial menu. How cute.
@@NewbEden that's neat. i personally hate it. always have.
16:52 HAHAHAHAHAHA
Billy Daniels seriously needs to stop griefing you. Still mad because you escaped him in lowsec I guess..... =p
