Hi Gabrielle. Oh the joys of going on vacation. Overall the plants did well for 2 weeks.
Growing outside is a mixed blessing. I never seem to have the same results year after year. I suppose it depends on the number of sunny days. You might just tack on stripes of tape or cloth or sheer curtain to provide additional screening. Hard to decide what to do with the one with PB growth. Most new growths are fairly delicate and may burn in hot sun. If the plant is responding well to bright light, maybe turn the pot around or give the new growth shade from another plant.
Lovely orchid blooms! Compact and colorful blooms. Happy growing.

Thanks ResQuetzal! Yeah overall I'm pretty happy with the plants considering I was gone and it was apparently really hot for a few days. I ended up bringing those plants inside just because I'm too worries about the new pseudobulbs growing crooked.
