Perfect video. You got it Teppo ! Keep up the good work, this year is your 💪🏻
Thanks bro! Glad to help.
Consistency has always been an issue for me, I usually get very excited creating and then I burn out completely. Your video was very helpful, thank you!
Glad to help 🙌
Always with the bangers man!!! Solid tips!!!
Thanks man!
This video 🔥
Finally, someone gave clear, concise, concrete advice that is 100% doable. I usually skip this type of video because it's ambiguous, redundant, repetitive, and doesn't lead you to anything.
Thanks!! I'm definitely adopting your workflow. It makes so much sense. Thanks Teppo. Love from Costa del Sol, Spain.
Thanks man, glad it helped!
Love the insight to your work flow. Going to take all those helpful nuggets and hopefully I intergrate it into my own workflow. Cheers! ❤
Awesome Shawn, glad you enjoyed it 🙌
Great video Teppo! Thanks for sharing you advice. I just love watching your videos!
Thanks Jack, glad you enjoy them!
great advice Teppo. You are an example of hard work. With persistence, everything is possible.
Thanks!
Brilliant! Organization is key. I'm working towards that while balancing my life. I don't know that I'm looking at full-time, but I am looking towards creating consistently... which is a struggle for me. I heard someone say once, "You can do everything, just not all at once." :) I appreciate you!
Thats for sure! Wish we had time for everything
This is really good tips Teppo! Thanks 😀
Teppo, keep up the fine work. Love your content. 😊
Thanks!
thank you for this video ! im a full time truck driver i love my job and also creating content im trying to find a perfect balance
Thats awesome!
This is a great breakdown of process. Clear and helpful. Thank you Teppo 👏
Glad to help 👍
Thanks for the tips. Also thanks for helping me not feel as crazy that it takes 2/3 of my shooting time just to setup! #new2this
Hi Teppo, great video as always 😊 could you make a video explaining the process of how you would create content for others? Individuals, brands, companies...
Another Great Video, Teppo!! Congrats on clearing the 200k mark, keep it growing!
Whats your posting system, do you schedule and if so what are your go to days and hours?
I dont schedule, just try to post two long form videos a week and approx 5 reels. Most of the time in between 4-7pm Finnish time
Got, I am trying to get my upload game on, at least 1 vid a week. I have tried timings and yes the evenings seem to perform best so far @@TeppoHaapoja
Amazing video bro! Keep up the good work.
Thanks dude!
your energy is so authentic bro, you got a sub-er here
Why thank you! Welcome to the community
I clicked and yes, I want to become a full time creator :)
Enjoy the video!
absolute legend. seriously, absolute legend!
Haha your hilarious
Okay, your video addressed the motivation aspect for me. I'm on this journey myself, fully committed to content creation, and I'm learning so much every month. I'm struggling with the financial aspect and I want to learn how to make more money as a content creator. Your video was truly worth it!
Totally get you! My Creator Autonomy live cohort based workshop will go live in May where we do a whole day on monetization!
Love this, Thank you so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is so so helpful! Thank you ❤
Glad to help!
Just found your channel. Thank you for sharing and new subbie here!
Thanks Linda! Glad you enjoyed the content
Hope your channel will be around a long while, Teppo! These are such practical and helpful tips! Love your process of planning & creating YT films.
Thanks! Glad to help.
Appreciate the tips Teppo, first time on your channel and I liked the conciseness and valuable tips you provided. I'm getting happier with my quality of videos so now I'm focusing on consistency. Many thanks 🙌
Welcome man! Appreciate the feedback 👌
This video has some incredible tips, I am taking notes thank you!
Thanks, glad to help!
Thank you for this video Teppo! I still haven't yet reached my tipping point but I hope it is soon. I started my content creation journey in 2020 and still grinding because of you and your brother.
Thats awesome Cristian, keep on going! Every video you make is gonna teach you so much and eventually it’ll pay off 👍
@@TeppoHaapoja Thanks Teppo!
I’m in the same boat! Hoping to get there soon!
@@josiahtmac Yes sir!
This is so helpful as I'm still trying to figure out how to balance life and content creation.
Thanks a lot for the tips Teppo! Keep up the good work 👏
Glad to help 🙌
Have been watching as many learning videos to improve my videos, amd this one was very helpful ❤❤❤
Glad to help!
Thanks for this video. I ended 2023 sick and in a bit of a funk, and now that has sadly carried over into 2024. I'm struggling to get back going, mostly because I don't want to keep doing tech and gear reviews, I want to make more creative things, but I have a full-time job, am a grad student by night, and also a husband and dad. It's a struggle, for sure.
Ah I feel ya man, getting sick is the worst!
I just recently found your channel! Awesome content! I live in the same city as you! Awesome to follow your success and advice!
Wait what? You live in Seinajoki?
@@TeppoHaapoja Yes!
Also just bought the pocket 3, so really looking forward to learning more from you :)

Hello from Vaasa! Good stuff! 💪
Nice man!!!
Great insights Teppo! Thanks
Thanks!
Love the method for planning out the month, very smart.
Thanks Tucker!
Needed this!!
Great!
Really interesting. I'm about to start my UA-cam journey, definitely taking a few tips thanks
Amazing, starting is the biggest step. Once you start, your more ahead of many others.
This was great Teppo! You're so close to that 100k plaque, wishing you the best!! Any chance you can get your brother to post a "While I'm gone, watch my brother Teppo for your Haapoja fix." video? 🤣
Hahahahaha should I sneak on his channel?
@@TeppoHaapojaHave him put up like an "Out of Office" sign on his channel that redirects people to you. LOL
Great video, thanks for the tips.
I post when I want to and when I have something to say. And I really respect your consistency because I cannot even imagine posting a video per week.
Thats good man, gotta figure out your own flow
Sending appreciation. Thanks for the inspiring contents.
Awesome!!!
Consistency consistency consistency. Thanks for a great video and inspiration. I've needed to get my channel back in action for quite sometime now.
Glad to help!
This was very helpful thank you Teppo
Awesome!
Clear and concise. And comes just in time for a creative workflow reset. Thanks!
Also, I'm curious, do you shoot A-rolls and B-rolls on the same day, or do you have a separate schedule for this?
Usually same day! And glad you enjoyed the video.
This here is a great video. Thank you so much Teppo
Your welcome 🙌
Awsome video! 😄❤️
Thanks For The Advice. One day I’ll get there
Believe it 🙌
Wish everyone here the best of luck, and that they reach their goals!

Just the video I needed today! ☺
Great!
Great video Teppo! Closing in on 100K, me too! 😁👍
Exciting! Congrats man!
thanks for the info.
Your welcome 🙌
Yayyy, we've still got a Haapoja on the platform. Don't leave also, or I'll have to change my last name.
That's gonna be awkward. LOL!!!
Great Pointers Teppo. Love it. It's so hard trying to stay consistent when I'm always busy shooting and editing, but really trying this year.
Fingers crossed and Discipline engaged.
Gonna miss Matti
HA glad you enjoy the content
This is our year buddy!
Yes sir 🙌
Great tips! Thanks!
Your welcome 🙌
Very motivational. Thanks for this.
Glad to help man!
I do have a full time job and it's so hard to post on UA-cam. Now I have a salary and that's how I bought myself the Sony ZV-1 M2 with a tripod etc, a PS5 for gaming, a nice TV and all I want but I don't have time no more for my dream/dreams. And I have about 3-4 channels (experimenting to see which goes well..two-three channels are the main ones) and I also love making beats. :)) Love your vids! Keep up the good work! 💙🙂
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the encouragement, Teppo! I just recently started my channel and getting to juggle a wonderful marriage, full-time job, and trying to create content is a crazy new challenge. But you just gave me a lot of new and great ideas to better tackle content creation! Much appreciated! 🙏🏽
Glad to help!
I feel you, man. Through a kid in the mix and I'm there with you XD
@@lancefullmoon ah that’s crazy! I’ll be joining you there soon. Due in beginning of summer! 🙌🏽😂
Lets goooo! I dont do youtube full time but I have a real estate media business shooting content full time now doing $200k+ a year now
Thats awesome! Way to go 🙌
Thankyou....your video was helpful❤❤❤
Glad to help!
Good video thank you
This is amazing advice.
Glad to help 🙌
As someone who has been creating on this platform for the last 11 years, this video is like a lightbulb moment in terms of pushing past procrastination and organising the ideas and how to execute them...
Glad to help 🙌
Kiitos to you for this 😀
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good stuff👍
Thanks!
such great content you are sharing for free!!!
Thank you! Its a small taste of what Im offering through my live cohort
Yeah, I definitely need to get my strategy down this year
Atta boy Marty!
@@TeppoHaapoja thanks
I'm actually not interested in becoming a full time content creator, I'm really happy where I'm at. I just wanted to leave a comment to say how much I loved your thumbnail. Cheers Teppo! 😀
Ha amazing! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for your tips. Creating good workflow is so important and I'm still work in progress. With my day job, I don't have all that much time for it, even when I create only short form content for now. But I'd like to start with long form content this year too, although I really can't see myself posting that every week. Do you think it makes sense even to post like once or twice a month? Let's say I don't aim to be a full time youtuber, but rather use UA-cam content to support my photography business and make me more discoverable.
Of course. Post as much as you can in a way thats sustainable for you.
You will grow slowly but consistently, and learn tons of skills along the way like ideation, scripting, talking to a camera, editing.
I agree! That workflow is SO important!
@@TeppoHaapoja Thank you, Teppo, I'll give it a try 🙂
I definitely follow the second approach and don't plan to go full time on YT, but if this could me a nice side hustle income, I would welcome it :)
Until then I have fun and try my best to learn and improve step by step.
Thanks for sharing your clustering workflow. This is also something I had to learn through the hard way. But I think some mistakes you have to make by yourself to appreciate the improvement you learnt by that lesson. Something I recently had to learn on the hard way was during recording the audio got messed up due to faulty mic and had no audio backup. Needed to re-record the session. I think every creator had to re-record something just because of a stupid thing like not pressing record, checking SD card, etc. although everybody tells you what you have to check before recording :D
Audio messing up is the worst!
Nice channel - sub'd :)
@@inhousefilms_ thank you very much! 😊 welcome to the community 😊
Welcome!@@inhousefilms_
How do you plan your videos/reels on you mac? any tipps for a good workflow app or something like that?
I literally just write a script in a word document 🙌
@@TeppoHaapoja haha sometimes you just need to keep it simple 😅 thanks for the fast reply Teppo. Your channel helps me a lot because I just started last week
I guess the black shirt and tom thing will work for me going forward......because for few seconds in I thought this was a newer channell for Matte
Hahahaha
Amazing video, in the beginning I was like “I’m a student and part timer” 😂😂
HA feel ya!
I'm a Steady Eddie doing T-shirts, Music, photos & video content and it's a grind feels like so much time and effort and still little results.
This is golden
🙌🙌🙌
Great stuff. I found you via your brother. You seemed like a mellow fellow that liked to stay in the backdrop. Boy i was wrong. You brighten up on camera and I have been enjoying your content for over a year now. Oh I hate your entire outfit...send it to me, thanks. 👽
Hahaha, yeah Im the extroverted brother
If I am not English Native speaker, do you think it's better or should have more reach, making the content in English, or should I stick to my demographic? that idea had my head spinning around for a while know. Cheers and thanks for the great content.
Tough question. If you feel way more comfortable in your native language, it might be better, but if u can push through and learn in english then it might pay off.
Also its that question of do you want to be a big fish in a small pond vs small fish in a big pond
My biggest struggle is creating a space that inspires me to create and that looks good on camera
I would remind you that your norm is exotic for someone else, we get so used to what we see but fro someone else it can be very intriguing
@@TeppoHaapoja great point! Thank you 😊
Great tips 🎉
Thanks Bobby!
Luyv it... Thank you
Your welcome!
Cool!
🙌🙌🙌
For many is it in 2024 not more a goal to be full time Content creator. But for some it still is.
You deserve my sub bro coz its my dream
Your too kind!
My questions is, your videos views are all over the place (just looking at the last 3 months), you have 66k, 63k (views for this video lol), 41k, 22k, 15k, and the rest are under 10k viewed videos, many under 4k. If you made over $200k, how are you making your money? It doesn't feel like it's all coming from views.
Something a lot of UA-camrs in this space do is break down how they are making their money... "This is how much UA-cam paid me for 100,000 subscribers" or videos like that. As growing UA-camrs it really helps.
Thanks! And keep up the good work!
Yep for sure, views are always up and down depending on what type of video you make. Some of my videos are more for views / growth, others are more community building and relationship deepening. I dont rely just on adsense, I have multiple revenue streams for example ad sense, affiliate links, digital products, sponsors, courses etc. All those add up then to make my salary.
Great video topic--do you use any AI tools for scripting?
Chat GPT sometimes for ideation
How its going to pay off after a tiping point ? Google Ads ?
Teppo I appreciate your content all the time and looking to really be a paid a full time content creator just scared as crap. I am a dad of 3 and a husband.
I'd highly recommend building it slowly and once you see that you can make a sustained monthly income, then jump over! Or then find partners that will do 6 month to 12 month collaborations
i think my year will just leave not quitting but this vid hope takes time for me near future. haha
Nice! Glad to help.
Hi, been watching you for a few years. Thanks for all the videos. I have a little over 220,000 Subs. And advice to make this my full-time thing?
I'd love to help Darrell, I think with 220,000 subs you should be just fine making enough money. Its just about figuring out the right monetization tips. Send me an email or DM on instagram and I can help mentor you.
What's your take on creating in English vs. your native language? (More from an audience/earning standpoint, assuming the creator is fluent in both)
What are your thoughts on the dji pocket 3 relative to the sony?
Great camera, of course a sony mirrorless is gonna get you better quality but if ur just doing vlogging or social media content, its great
Can we please get this man to 100k already?
Haha your too kind
I just got a Sony zv 1 to make more content.. I use to shoot on a Panasonic with bad autofocus which was frustrating
ZV1 is a fun little camera
@@TeppoHaapoja yeah definatly what i need for my youtube
