- John DeVore updates with the current state of the Komuro Amplifier Company (hint: building the first ten amps), the speakers and preamp going to the HiFi show in Chicago this April, and a bit of a tour of the new expansion of the DeVore Fidelity factory.
Welcome to the DeVore Fidelity UA-cam Channel. John's drawings, shirts and singed prints:

I have owned various Devore Fidelity speakers.. I fell in love with them two decades ago in NYC, when it was not yet such a well-known brand and nobody knew about it in my country, Italy. The O/Bronze arouses something different in me. It probably has to do with the fact that it is the culmination of a "new" path taken with the production of the O/96 and that it allowed John to experiment with the right steps to refine the O/96. In a few words, an approach driven by love and passion, what sets Devore apart from most hifi brands. Since I could not get the Twenty, I am now really excited to know that I can own a pair here in Italy. Thank you John! Francesco
Hello John. Have you had the chance to listen your speakers with the Riviera Levante amplifier?
I will own a pair of your speakers someday.
There's going to be an O/Bronze, how cool is that? Is it similar or same as the Twenty? Are you going to demo it in Munich?
Congratulations and best wishes to you and Mr Komuro for the amplifiers! Thank you for sharing the factory floor. Huge huge thumbs up for using harpsichord for driver break-in!
Thanks for the tour John. Very interesting. But I was curious why there wasn't any testing equipmement in sight, such as an oscilloscope, voltage tester, multimeter, tube tester etc?
So what’s the go with the O/Bronzes? Better bass response than the O/96?
I only ask because when I finally get round to upgrading my system, I’d rather save money and space, and only get one set of speakers…
I know I’m on the hook for a couple amplifiers, due to the eclectic nature of my record collection, but speakers take up a lot of space.
Would love to hear these amps. Especially with the transmission tubes. But am in NZ!
I’d love a pair of 0/96 they’d be my last speakers definitely, can’t wait to hear the amplifier
Those O/Bronzes! 😁
Loved seeing the shop! Thanks for sharing your happy place with us. Really hoping to make it to AXPONA this year. Super interested in hearing the 300b pairing.
Thanks!
Wow - it really is a much more contained hand built business than I was envisaging. Totally see there is love in those products.
We are tiny--much smaller than most people realize.
Hello John, can I hear the new model from Orangutan 96 at the High-End in Munich this year? Thanks
Schwinn 3 speed Fastback maybe?
I don't remember the specific models, there were so many.
Very, very cool.
I'd suspect we're very close to the same age!
That's a Stingray Crate I fixed up for my kid years ago.

Got it
Cool stuff
how can I get more info on the first ten (just need one!) komuro amps?
email us.
The new stuff looks class
78s - to avoid any copyright / public performance/broadcast issues :p
Hi John, fascinating to see behind the scenes view of the factory ! Thanks so much. Hope Chicago goes well, greetings from Australia. I need to get to Gosford for a demo listen.
Looking fwd to the bronzes. Would love to hear about your on wall speakers.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the Mola Mola!
If I didn't like it I'd never use it at a show! For a preamp that contains a streaming DAC and an adjustable-curve phono stage, it's fantastic! The DAC is legendary, and the MM phono (using MC step-up transformers) is excellent. Not as much with the MC direct.
Is there a price point/availability yet for the O/Bronze? You might not be ready to announce that yet which is cool.
We hope to start shipping within two months of the Chicago show in April.
Very cool. Thanks for the tour.
what turntable mat was that on the 401?
My 401 uses a Shindo platter and bearing. The mat is part of that package.
Why demo it with 78s?
I love 78s, there is much great music on them. And most people have never heard a 78 played back through a hi-end system with proper EQ. A HiFi show is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate how they sound. Of course we'll be playing modern LPs as well.
