the wrist pass really does what it supposed to when you have the blade coming for your fingers the chaplin may or may not just sit anywhere on ur finger, it should be on the 2nd digit so as to stay on the finger and not fall off after like a rotation or two, with the exception of your thumb ofc

Will y’all’s website ever get in stock any BRS Alpha Beasts? I look on BRS website a lot and they’re never on sale or up on the page. Or are they just simply out of order and not being made anymore?
That's a great question, we've been asking it too. BRS makes some of the best balisongs in existence, so their demand is far greater than supply can satisfy. We occasionally get a shipment here and there, and we always announce the drop dates and times on Instagram, but they sell out in minutes, sometimes seconds. Best of luck!
@@BladeHQ of course, of course. I’ll hunt for an alpha beast till the ends of the earth. Im a fan of their product ever since I began flipping Balisongs 9 years ago. Lol.
Chaplin is very easy if you know how to do it, its all about making your elbow the central point of the rotation(full forearm moves and wrist stays stiff), this guy is doing it incorrectly by moving his wrist and drops the knife but plays it off. But yeah, I would still agree with your point, its more of a later beginner/early intermediate trick than an early beginner move, the 2 you suggested are great 😁

WTF did you do, fall down the stairs and cut the cord holding the hanging chandelier from falling on your head by accidentally throwing the knife? Bro has Wile E. Coyote levels of luck with that one.
Just wanted to comment that if youre a beginner, PLEASE dont do the chaplin like how he does in this video, hes doing it wrong and you will drop/throw it(depends how fast youre going 😆). Instead of moving your wrist like he does in the video, keep your wrist mostly stiff and use your elbow as the fulcrum for the spinning motion, the longer leverage is what keeps the knife stable during the chaplin. (If youre having trouble keeping a chaplin going, this is probably why) Also just wanted to say you can literally see him lose control of the knife after the 2nd turn of the chaplin and just does an awkward catch to play it off 😂
@@The_Ajna I'm assuming they used their wrist instead of their elbow as they were trying to keep it in frame or something 🤷♂️ (if that makes any sense)

I mean as long as u are paying attention this shouldn't happen. I do agree that you should tape your blade or get a trainer if you don't want to suffer numerous cuts when first learning. Although learning with a live first teaches u respect for the blade so whatever u want to do.
it took me a few weeks to learn. The best tips I can give you is don’t use your hand or your wrist to do a circle motion use your whole forearm. also don’t move your arm in a side to side or front back motion move your arm in a circle clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on which side of your finger you have the back of the blade on. when I do chaplains, I have the safe handle resting next to my thumb and the blade and bite handle in between my index finger and my middle finger. then I move my whole hand and forearm in a counterclockwise movement.
The safe handle is the Handel where if you're holding the handle no matter where the blade is, it wonr cut u. Open the knife snd hold it in the position, where u would if ur going to use it, the blade should be facing away from u, the handle that's closest to u is the safe handle
Bro when I was like 6 I was watching this stuff and I was like dad can I have one of these and now I’m realizing all my fingers would have probably been chopped off😂😂😂
