Guidance from Surah Hashr - Khutbah by Nouman Ali Khan

- This khutbah was given on April 15, 2016 at The Islamic Center of Frisco.
After the Muslim victory against conspiring Jewish tribes in the Battle of
Khaibar, described in Surat Al-Hashr, Allah states that the spoils must be
distributed among all Muslims so that a handful of people will not hold the
majority of the wealth. In this context, explains Nouman Ali Khan, comes verse
10, a supplication seeking Allah’s forgiveness and to rid our hearts of cheating,
hate, jealously and aggravation towards fellow Muslims. It is also a reminder
that believers must be mirrors to each other: if they see good, they acknowledge
it, and if they see bad, they speak out against it.

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana-ghfir lanaa dhunuubanaa wa israafanaa fii amrinaa wa thabbit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa 'alal qawmil kaafireen.
"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and any wasteful act we may have done in our duty, and set our feet firm, and help us to victory over the disbelieving people!"
Alhamdulillah, I was asking for guidance to Allah(Swt) and find out your lectures on different social media and then finally find out Bayyinah Institute which slowly slowly helped me to understand the the Quran in a great way.
It changed my view of life and gives me a very peace of mind, Alhamdulillah. I pray for everyone who is behind this project and working to spread the true religion from Allah-Rabb'ul-Alamin.
This my surah Subhan Allah before when I didn't fully understand the meaning I was excited to read it because it seemed hard but Allah SWT made it easy for me. Alhumdulilah and I am gaining full knowledge of the surah. Jazakullallahu Khair

The people of Medina at that stone age were welcoming the migrants without fear of economic down turn at that stone age, our generation is fearing as if we are one providing for our selves. I'm pretty sure that Surah al Hashr was talking about the incident with Banu Nadir, which was before Khaibar. Never the less the Ustadh is a Gem!
