Beginner KAYAK LESSONS

After teaching my 10 year old son the basic kayak skills in a pool, he needed experience with moving water. He had a difficult and scary first day on a river, so I had to work through some fear and wanted him to focus on the next skills to learn: PEEL OUT, EDDY OUT and FERRY.
I created this video for anyone else either interested in whitewater kayaking, or trying to teach a frightened student of children.
