    Great video! Had a friend (girl) complain that I was "missing" from my own stories when I tell them. Like "x did this and then that happened etc...". However one of my problems is that I don't remember how I felt in the moment, which is probably due to the fact that I do not feel emotions as strongly as everybody else. In general this makes it a bit hard to tell stories lol, any suggestions?

      hey man i felt disconnected from my emotions for a long time, i'm not perfect now but certainly much better. part of what helped me was realising that by dulling my sensitivity to any single emotion i inadvertently dulled the rest as well.
      For me i was bullied and raised a "nice guy" so id hid from any aggression or anger as i'd deemed them bad emotions. it also led to a lot of shame.
      So step 1
      If you can identify which emotion you're blocking and start to access it you'll start to feel more emotions as a whole.

      I had a similar problem too. Something that really helped me reconnect with my emotions was thinking about simple things that I knew made me happy (drinking coffee under a warm blanket, taking a nap in the middle of the day if possible, going for a relaxing walk, etc.). These things are different for everyone, but if you just think about what makes you happy, relaxed, or thankful, then you can slowly reconnect with your emotions. In short, start small and work your way up. First learn how to connect with your emotions in the present moment, then how to connect with past emotions. Also, when thinking about or endulging in things that make you happy and peaceful, try and focus on that feeling. Hope this helps
