1:06:18 This was so good. Thank you! At about 1:06:00 you’re talking about judgment, the church and doing that which we know is wrong. I worked for the ELCA for a number of years. Back in 2006 they formed a committee to come up with a social statement on homosexuality and same-sex marriage. It was at a church-wide assembly with lots of pastors and church workers. When the announcement was made a lot of people clapped. I was indifferent at the time, didn’t have a strong belief on what was right vs wrong. Didn’t really seem right but who was I to say anything. Fast forward about six years. I got into a good small group, some good lectures from my church that wasn’t ELCA and read the whole Bible through. It was pretty apparent what the Bible says about it after that. You guys nailed it “the church is going along with the culture, not scripture.” I believe if more Christian’s read the Bible and had biblically literate pastors, people would know where to stand on sin and this issue. And possibly appreciate the gift of Christ’s death because we are all sinners in need of a savior not just homosexuals. Me included.

SOLID! I can't say enough good about the last hour and 12 minutes that I just spent listening to this podcast. Talk about bringing hope into a heavy situation - love his line about the culture being ripe for the gospel.
I loved listening to this Podcast. Yes there are others who will not compromise just not on a National Stage. Bishop Wooden is in my area though I attend a different church. I can tell you my Pastor spoke out against abortion and received the heat for it but he will not back down

I was so encouraged by this episode! Bishop Wooden's focus and dedication to the gospel as the solution to ALL the issues of the day is FIRE! I love his boldness and his example to other pastors. Also anyone notice Monique and Kevin in their Sunday night church best for this episode?! :). Also, also, Monique all proper in the first 5 minutes of the interview and then lets loose. I love you guys!!!
