Why do you keep calling it "sessions"? never heard anyone in the pool game call them sessions. they either use "game" rack" "match" "round". it's really confusing when you use that word in a pool sport. like using the baseball jargon "inning" in a soccer match.
I believe he refers to the session of the Mosconi Cup, in which there are 2-3 matches (each match consists of 3-8 racks depending on how long the winner makes the gap between him and his opponent in the number of racks won) in each session and each day has 2 sessions.
