Took delivery of my LR 90 in late Dec 23. Flat load space in the rear was a showstopper in my view; it’s a Land Rover after all. Seats did fold flat but no load space tray and the dealer didn’t have a clue about the system or when the tray should arrive. I suspect when/if it does they’ll want me to buy it as though it was an optional accessory - not per the order form- £0.
Any ideas what is happening with the supply chain issues at Land Rover ? Can’t even get a Defender Wheel cover from them - the most basic of parts - customer communication and service is very poor.
My new 90 is sat at the dealership, built Jan 24. Shipped without the boot tray, but it was on the build. They’ve been trying for 4 weeks to get one……cmon Landrover, get your act together
@@MicePitch I ordered 90 yesterday and it will be manufactured in Q1 24 containing this feature as dealer promised. I'm in europe location, car manufactured in Slovakia Rep. factory...
Dad got his on Saturday, dealer said they would supply it for free. And they got the roof colour wrong! But they are offering to fix everything and we love the car!
Hi, your local Land Rover dealer will be happy to help you with more details about this and your favourite model. Simply contact them directly or visit our website.
Why have you made the rear seat folding procedure more complicated than it needs to, why could you have not just left the seat base in place and fold down the backrests. Most manufacturers have this system in place. This is very inconvenient as if the driver is very tall like myself, they would have to place the driver seat forward which will make driving uncomfortable and unsafe as the seat is closed to the steering wheel and foot operating pedals.
Folding up the base first allows the backrest to fold completely flat, instead of on an angle, like most backrest only seat folding mechanisims. I'd much rather have it go proprely flat and do the extra step!
An improvement but still a very unpractical car interior for such large external dimensions. 3 door Discovery over 30 years ago and 3 door Freelander over 20 years ago were much more practical .
A lot of designers need to be sacked and ones who live in the real practical world hired. Flat load space is a very basic but important thing to get right first time. The first Renault 5 cats had one lever, the parcel shelf folded into the seat back and the whole lot folded flat in the floor and that’s well over 40 years ago! You charge £90 thousand and can’t get probably the number one basic design requirement right! Targeting the wrong markets chasing the uber rich city dwellers. This vehicle could not be further away from what Landrover was originally designed for. Bet not many or sold in India where all the profits are going.
3 years too late, but glad you got there (kind of) eventually..🙃
I took delivery end Oct 2023 no tray. Currently have a case open with JLR to find out when this is due. I'll keep you posted
Picked up mine 3 weeks ago and no tray either. I can’t get any information or part number at all, so please post any updates you may get. Thanks

When will this be available? The sales people I've spoken to don't know about it.

What is the part number for the Flat loadspace floor tray?
Don't get excited people. I just took delivery of a 2024 D90 this month and it didn't come with the tray. It was on the build though 😂
Any word from the dealer about when it might arrive? I have a D90 on order coming in Feb. Thanks.
Just picked up a 90 V8 and same thing, spec’d on the build but didn’t have it🤷🏻♂️

If anybody knows how to make this change, I appreciate if you can provide the info, thank you

Hi, I live in taiwan, how can I buy this?
Much better, should have happened years ago!
They try to cover up their major design flaw, so now jou have to raise everything even higher for loading 😢 Disaster..

This is ridiculous, the 90 is the biggest design fuck up ever. Should have kept the old style rear seats

I really like this car, but I don't have enough money to buy such a car, can the company give me the car for free 😢
