Jokic is like a hybrid of old school and new school. He has all the craftiness of an old school big + with skills of a modern NBA player. Such a unique beast.

They HEAVY on the fundamentals overseas, that’s why certain euro players like Luka are so deadly as well. If an elite fundamentally sound player can adapt to modern NBA offense with their fundamentals as a base they’ll become DEADLY.

@@nemajabakic4546 I think there’s more rules that favor the defense the European leagues, which is why when they get here they may not be as good at it because the NBA is more offensive driven. That’s why Luka said it’s easier to score in the NBA but the NBA is still way tougher. Like overseas there’s do defensive 3 second violation so a center can literally camp under the basket the whole play💀

@@nemajabakic4546😂 it doesn't matter what the euro players do over there, they will NEVER own 'Murica in professional basketball. Ever ever! Most of these guys are born with a basketball in hand and ball all their lives. Euro players, eh well.. don't. And I don't have to live there to know this as factual. You can see it in the games. Now the ones that actually do play their entire lives are the ones that end up being superstars of the NBA at one point or another. And that isn't as common as you think. Luka the Don, Jokic and mf.. uh.. shoot I can't think of anymore off the top of my head, sorry.. but ya those players are fantastic so no disrespect or anything

The used to be the commonly accepted school of thought for basketball players in the 50s and into the early 60s for the very reason you just expressed. Not leaving your feet allows you to always be in position to move and make the next play.

Even when he misses, the ball bounces so softly off the rim. All of his misses are barely misses. Never seen him throw up a brick 🧱. Every time he shoots I expect it to go in and am surprised when it doesn’t. Even when he shoots that ridiculous 3.
I am a CLE / LeBron fan so I root for the Lakers to win the West. In that series last year, I forget what game it was (either Game 2 or 3) he hit some ridiculous 3 while being guarded very well by AD. At that point it was just like “there is absolutely NOTHING that can be done to stop this guy.” You just have to hope that he barely misses, the incredibly underrated Murray doesn’t pop off, Porter Jr doesn’t shoot lights out from 3, and that your own team plays almost perfect on offense. Good luck with that happening 4 times out of 7.
If the Lakers can’t beat them, I hope Joker 🃏 wins like 10 in a row. It feels like he is playing a video game 🎮 on easy mode. Just tap a button and it goes in, without exerting any physical energy whatsoever.
The only hope for the rest of the NBA is that he gets bored and retires early.

In ten years, black Americans will be finally called out for being lazy. Caus league is going to be filled of international players WHO ARE ACTUALLY HUMBLE AND HARD WORKING.

Not sure why you say black Americans specifically and not just Americans in general. Either way Americans will still dominate the league in 10 years.

Gotta tell ya. It's refreshing to here this kind of rhetoric after watching the Wnba for the last couple weeks. Such a toxic league. No mutual respect.
