That came out really nice. I like what you did to contour the body. Totally cool. All your own too man. If you carefully adjust the neck with the truss rod and then level the strings with the bridge risers - the height of the string will come down. But you have to be patient and careful and move slowly, checking for string buzz after tuning, periodically. You will also have to adjust the intonation afterward using the screws in the back of the bridge to adjust the length of the string so the pitch is correct. I think it is a very cool guitar and you can always do more to it if you want to change something. Good stuff.

Is the shielding connected to each other segments? If not, i think it is not worth the effort, simply it wont work like you want.
Did you manage to lower the action?
