hazzy can only hold certain weapons if it's wearing a hazmat suit. it's in the experimental version of the game.

0:31 Tip if you have the Hazmat suit on and you get infected you actually get turned into Hazzy which in you can grab the Hazmat suit again and then you’ll be able to carry items. But this only works for Hazzy.

adding on to this they cannot pick up sledgehammers. Those are for humans only, if you try it'll just say it's too heavy of an object for a hazzy to pick up
