@@kylebooface6359 It's because the video wasn't made "officially" by the team that makes Call of the Void However, the music is from the "Official Soundtrack" It's an unofficial animated compilation of the official soundtrack That's how it's both official and unofficial (I think)
I have a theory about the sprite in phase 3 We know that monsters with determination melt Sans has been fighting for a while, so he has little magic left Then, he is filled with determination In the sprite, he does a weird face, winks, melts in two stages but then his face reforms while his magic eye is flashing with patience, justice, and determination Now my theory The weird face obviously causes of his determination , that is making feel weird , like being sick , not like himself He instead of magic is using a mix of his determination a very very little of magic, cause he is reserving the magic for something else He starts to melt because he abuses determination But before he melts fully he uses his magic to pull himself back up and repeats the cycle That's the reason why he can fight that much long even though he lacks magic after the panic attack
And mine one When he starts to melt he uses his determination and loads back himself with the save point. Then when his determination greater than Frisk's he just kills them with undodgeable attack.
I mean, the small cutscene in between Painic Attack and one left. shows that Sans grabs Papyrus' soul before it cracks and shatters. We also know that in the beginning, the DT Extractor did what it was made to do and extracted some DT from Frisk's soul. And, Papyrus' soul seems that it was made from the extracted DT. Meaning, when Sans grabbed Papyrus' soul, he absorbed the DT out of his brother's soul, and then used that as a final move. The saves and reloads were probably Frisk trying to get their DT back, which they started doing successfully (you'll know if you've seen the animation by Saster and J-Bug). But Sans, not wanting to give Frisk their DT back, as that would allow them to continue and just reset again, used the last of his magic and DT to finally kill Frisk, ending the cycle forever. Most likely, Sans eventually ended up like Undyne and he melted and died, but not before he contained the human soul in a jar and most likely gave it to Asgore. Them he either died, or Alphys was able to just barely save him. This is just my theory and thoughts, or in other words, this isn't canon to the real story. I really don't know what happened, I'm just a little sure that this is the whole thing that happened.
