'You're No Good' - written by Clint Ballard Jr. this was originally recorded by Dee Dee Warwick in 1963 and was produced by Lieber and Stoller.
Then famously recorded by Betty Everett, also in 1963
reaching #5 on the "Cashbox's R&B Locations" chart.
Then the following year recorded by 'The Swinging Blue Jeans" reaching #3 in the UK charts. This is the version most people in the UK are familiar with.
Then years later, in 1975, Linda Ronstadt had a #1 hit with this in the US - the producer being Peter Asher.
'Boss Sounds' - originally formed in the mid '60s in York, got together a couple of years ago to record some 'golden oldies' - this being one of them.
