Of course I listen to Southern rock back in the day. As well as all the funk guys: Sly, Black Merda, Rick James, early Prince. Just came back from a Queens of Stone age concert last week, you guys have funneled all of that and more into your music. You are made for a party. Finally saw you last year live and were as good as advertised. Keep it up!
Just saw The Cadillac Three in Portland OR opening for Hank Williams Jr. These guys effing killed it, they're all I listen to, I have been looking for southern rock lately and came with nothing, that is until I saw the Cadillac three :) This song makes me wanna drink, dance, ride my Harley, make love, hang with friends / family, hell it just makes you feel good. The guitar riffs in this song are nuts, really hope these guys get more airtime, more coverage, and this is the direction country music is headed.

Whiskey Myers are even better. (IMHO). Find 'Trailer We Call Home'. That songs says it all for me. And I bet you get chocked up listening to 'Broken Window Serenade' and 'Dogwood'. Enjoy
