Lübeck ... the city where I grew up ... I always get a bit nostalgic (you even show a part of the jetty of the rowing club where I used to train ;-)) ... along the Elbe-Lübeck Canal (= Old Salt Road) is a really nice cycle route, completely flat and without cars. By the way, I like your videos. They have something so natural, optimistic and cheerful about them. Always tailwind and sun in your face! 🌞
I'm a big fan of Luneburg Heide/heath and the people of northern Germany! I've visited friends many times and everyone is SO very nice! They have an amusing rivalry with southern Germans - Bavarians - that seems similar to the Scottish/English rivalry but not quite so 'hot'. More friendly. I strongly recommend the Heidschnucke stew (sheep - no idea if it is lamb or mutton). If you ever go back there don't ask for Heideschnecke stew as I once did (heathland snail). I don't think it was an option but they had a good laugh at the silly British guy, then bought me a beer. I really enjoyed your video
@@Neilhuny Thanks for your kind words and for sharing your experience! Snail stew doesn’t sound too enticing aha 😂 We really did enjoy it there, and everyone was very friendly!
