My review of the Ned Foss Survival Kukri. The knife has strong construction and can be used for chopping, slicing, hammering, piercing, and cuts using the recurve. I would add a firesteel, striker, and tinder to the sheath. Ned Foss also sells hatchets. Have you ever seen the citezen watches that glow when you go indoors? Can you use the world's brightest flashlight on it for about 5 minutes so we could see what would hapen?
Man I do be loving this knife but yeah the price point could be a little lower all things considered. Regardless I'll be picking this one up prob after I get the nedfoss dragon tanto. There's 3 knives by ole neddy that I really like and are super budget friendly seems like a win-win to me. Thanks for your time and opinion 🤌🏼
I have the Ned Foss Dark Phoenix, also 45 bucks also 8cr13. I like the knife. Put it in my daughter's car. Tough and robust. And for her, a tough low maintenance knife will work well. That Kukri's now got my attention! Great video!!!
Great review as always. I think this blade is pretty cool too. It's definitely something you could survive with. The price for now days doesn't seem too excessive but I probably won't buy one unless as you said, it goes on sale.
Whitetail cutlery made a knife nearly identical to this one only the handle scales were imitation stag. I owned one and really liked it but gave it to my nephew as a gift.
Doing great, just wanted to shout out my favorite underrated tools of the day you mentioned, Victorinox scissors and saw, tinder box, and the mighty mini baton!
It would be an item that can be handy for multiple cutting tasks and it is a big thick sharp blade ,Ned Foss got that knife right. Good budget survival tool. ⚔️✂️⚔️🤺

@@xxdeadxangelx6150 - I shall look into this :D
Bro I love you
It can be any watch that glows or use glow in the dark stuff with it lol like the stars from dollar tree

Excellent, I saw that one, mid-sized pigsticker for sure.
That's the first thing I noticed, the relatively thick spine and tang. Ned Foss make solid knives. Even their folders are thick. lol :)
I'll check 'em out
Got one a few days ago, it's a budget beast!
Excellent, I'm glad you got one!

Thanks for watching, my friend!
Beautiful knife as well as functional!?! Yes please 😆
Glad you like!

Excellent, they have served well!
Great video as usual. That suckers beefy lol.
Thanks for watching, my friend!
That’s one sik looking survival knife, recurve is awesome 🤘🔪 the lanyard slot is brilliant, l would love this incredible chopper 🤩✌️✌️
Glad you like it! It does come with a nice lanyard as well, but I usually take them off to hammer things.
After trying lanyards for a while, I don’t like them. Extended tangs are handy hammers 🤙🤙
Thanks for confirming that this is a hollow grind knife for me.
Awesome video😁, be like I'm going to start a fire with this knife now, then just use a Bic lighter and dry ground debris😂
I shall start a fire with the knife watching over for security and providing morale support :]
Like the blade a lot! But not the handle and not the guard awesome recurve though!
Good find brother. 👊💀
Thank you, bro!
I remember Cold Steel kopis machette..(but kukri and falcata may be practically of the same power.). .absolutely same form...have a good time👍
This is true, back during Alexander The Great, his army reached northern India, and the Nepalese saw some of the swords the Greeks had with them.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives You are right,sir...that is true...👍

Good budget survival tool. ⚔️✂️⚔️🤺
For sure. I like to think Ned Foss is half Batman, half Crocodile Dundee, and he shows up when we need him the most :D
@@WeAllJuggleKnives 🤝
The form seems to appear greek falcata-kopis more correctly than kukri...but...maybe too...Nice knife..very sturdy👍😎
the blade type is more similar to that of the Yataghan than the Kukri
And what about Greek falcata-kopis?
Remember especially Cold Steel Kopis machette...
for combat use ill suggest wearing it edge facing front making it better for quick drawing it out point downwards and using it just like a dagger
Leader gets moldy out doors
.
I'd like it a lot better if it had a 7 1/2 inch or 8 blade .
Different length options would be a plus for sure.
What’s the steel on this?
8Cr14MOV
DOES , CHOP , STEAK KNIFE SIZE. TORX STAR, LANYARD , COULD BE ROUND, HOLE ,
Ned Foss ,,,, boker, template. ?
They all go back to Nepal in the end, but Nepal got them from Alexander the Great's army have some Falcata style swords :]
