The pattern for the book and the link to the March texture Madness Crochet Along (over now but still a lot of great stitch tutorials), can be found in the description box.

So late to the game, but so cute! I love texture myself, lol, I can sit there for hours running my fingers across some of my throws that I have made while watching TV. Some of my nieces and nephews are the same way, so I really think that they would love these! Great thing is that I make swatches all the time, because I just know that they will be great for a blanket. I already have probably a dozen or more swatches that are already the same size to do this. Never thought to do a book :) Thank you!

Have fun! It is also great as a resource to help you pick a stitch for the next blanket you make.

Here is the link to the cover pattern and the post includes links to all the stitch tutorials for the pages. Just make sure to measure your pages as you are making them so they are all about the same size.

I’m not very experienced with crochet and have wondered about this. It seems kind of like cross stitch and embroidery.

The technique is different but it is a great way to add extra detail like with cross stitch and embroidery. It is also easier to remove if you make a mistake.

Well that didn't tell me how to crochet the cover of the book just the embroidery.

The book is only an example for the surface slip stitch which this is a video tutorial for.
